Probably the most popular diner in all of NY State! They even have a cookbook now. Lots of outdoor picnic tables spaced apart and you can order to go if you prefer. LOVE the onion rings!

This is such a beautiful place! Pre-pandemic, mainly booked for weddings and special retreats but open dining room open occasionally for the "locals." They have a special dinner for 2 "to go" now which is definitely worth checking out, if doing so, when picking it up, you will get to see a glimpse of this beautiful building/property. About a 10 minute drive from house.

It's fun to go up to Tannersville for an afternoon, check out the cute, little town and if you eat meat and are hankering for an old fashioned type burger, this is the place. There is outdoor eating, it's a simple, small place that also serves frozen custard.

One of the two "farm stands" in the area in Mount Tremper, on Rte 28. I go in from time to time, they carry some nice items. There is a sign outside that says "fresh fish" I have never purchased fish here but if you want fish, you might want to check it out.

If you are hankering fro some ice cream, this is a cute little place but there are better "really amazing excellent home made ice cream places in Woodstock - but - this place only a 7-10 minute drive vs. the 20-30 minutes to Woodstock.
