This is a great place to start in the refuge. The staff have maps to help guide you on the different drives available. There are bathrooms, giftshop and a short nature walk available. Well worth a stop. Want a guide? I'm pretty darn good at spotting alligators and birds and I know my way around. I can fit three people in my car and will be happy to be your tour guide for a donation of $40.00 for the trip. It will take about two and half hours. Let me know! If I'm available I'm all yours!

Fantastic beach park. Free parking (must go very early on a weekend if want to find a spot). This is where the locals go. It has pavilions, boardwalks, shower and bathrooms.
