Ruisseau Creole is an open-air shopping area with restaurant, cafe and many shops selling clothes, specialist food and wine, Mauritian goods, and sometimes there is an exhibition by a Mauritian artist. Things are a bit pricey there.

Pasadena Shopping Mall is very small but has got a supermarket (Spar), a pharmacy, a night club and a few clothing and souvenir shops selling typical Mauritian goods. It's a 10-minute walk from my place in Flic en Flac.

Le Morne is the kitesurfing paradise and usually it's full of kitesurfers and their families. The drive from Flic en Flac to Le Morne is very pretty and relaxing. Le Morne is very primitive and remember, there are no restaurants in Le Morne!
