Sightseeing
Definitely do the bus ride within the zoo (complimentary with day pass purchase). It’s about 45 minutes and will help you decide how to navigate the park as far as which animals to go back and take a closer look at. If they are not out and playing during the bus ride they are most probably not going to be after you hike over to them either.
