The Aoshima Island is a small island in about 1.5 kilometers of neighborhood. It's overgrown with more than 200 kinds of subtropical plant and it's designated as a national natural monument.

Hanatate Park is famous for beautiful cherry blossoms in Spring time! There are about 10,000 cherry trees, and its nickname is 'Cherry Blossom Park'. There is also Cherry Blossom festival going on during the season (normally from the end of March to early April).
