This is the best place to purchase tickets for local events like theatre, circus as well as bus tickets :). Much easier than going downtown to buy bus tickets.

They are a famous local circus - that combines music and theatre with circus. I have seen one of their productions and it was incredible! However, it all depends on when you are in town :).

Interesting sculpture in a great location. It's really romantic here at sunrise and sunset. The surrounding walls are artfully decorated with mosaics. In the center of Parque del Amor you find the statue "El Beso" (The Kiss) from Victor Delfín. It shows two lovers united in an intimate kiss.

A few blocks inland from the dramatic Costa Verde, stands a bakery café, El Pan de la Chola. About 750 metre walk from my apartment (and plenty of other interesting shops and cafes nearby).
Opened by a British ex actor and model Jonathan Day, El Pan follows the style of London hip coffee shops, with the minimalist decor, white walls and plain wooden tables, delicious artisan bread, yummy cakes and near perfect coffee. Day, nicknamed ‘Chola’ by his Peruvian friends, fell in love with the art of baking bread, and created what has since become one of the most fashionable eateries in Lima.

Yummy criolla sandwiches, smoothies and juices at this place in either Parque Kennedy or in front of Cine Alcazar (Av Santa Cruz). Not particularly cheap, but extremely yummy and worthwhile. I would not leave Lima without trying a sandwich from here :).

It is quite a touristy place, but definitely worth checking out! You may be lucky enough to be there when there is dancing in the park - older couples doing salsa which is really cute :).
