Fresh (no microwave) home-made, healthy, quality food. Great selection of cold appetizers (meze), soups and main dishes. The "kofte(meatball)" is just like mom's. And a mixed meze plate is my fav.

Well... You know gourmet burgers are so hot right now :) Burger Lab is really close by; not the best, but above average. It is 7/10 I would say.

Everybody knows this place :) Tourists and locals. Amazing view, good cocktails; and above avg priced authentic food. More impressive in the daylight.

well... too much turkish food? Here is a comfortable option. This is one of the best pizzas in town (my fav: pizza with arthicoke paste... and i am normally a meat lover. but this is really tasty ;) )

There are not many Thai places in istanbul. This one, Pera THai, is less than a 10 min walk from home. And I can easily say, this place is as good as the thai restaurants in San Francisco or New York
