The private woodland walks which are accessible to guests staying at the cottages give an opportunity to spot some fantastic wildlife including wild deer, owls, bats, foxes, badgers, rabbits, hare, woodpeckers, buzzards etc.. When there are clear skies at night, the sky is awash with stars due to the low light pollution: I recommend sitting outside for 10 minutes or so to let your eyes adjust to the dark, then you will see 100's and 100's of tiny stars!
