A waveless beach with the clearest water around. An absolutely fantastic place to swim or paddle board, especially with little ones. Be sure to get there early to find a park, but rest assured there is amazing coffee available to ease the pain.

Our personal favourite. Whether you're a surfer, or swimmer, or going for a run, there aren't many places more beautiful than this. The only downsides are the limited shade, and parking when its busy, so try to get there early.

Probably the most popular national park around, and close enough for a day trip. There are hundreds of different walking trails and waterfalls, depending on what you're after.
