Great, little Moroccan restaurant with who would have guessed: great tajines! (a tajine is the North African/Arabian dish which is named after the earthenware pot in which it is cooked. Recommended!

This is the go-to place for yummy macarons. They actually supply their famous macarons to lots of posh hotels in Amsterdam. Bring some home for your friends and family!

Forget about getting ice-cream at the ijscuypje shop on the Mercatorplein. Ice&bites icecream is just as good and much cheaper. Their pizza's are pretty good as well
