It has a suntrap back garden and is only 10 minutes walk to the beach. It's ideal for a relaxing holiday. Newly refurbished Grainger Cottage is a delightful traditional cottage set in the coastal village of St Bees, just a five minute walk to the sandy beach, local pubs, rail station .Dog friendly with a private garden at the rear. The ground floor consists: entrance hall; lounge with wood burning stove, & TV; well equipped kitchen; utility room with washing m/c and toilet. Upstairs: two bedrooms (1 kingsize & 1 double bed) bathroom with bath & separate shower. The cottage has gas central heating.

Cosy Victorian cottage by the Cumbrian Coast

Refurbished Victorian cottage, a short walk from the beach, RSPB reserve on the cliff tops, Railway Station and Post Office with convenience store. Upstairs there are views of the sea, St Bees Head and the Isle of Man too on a clear day. The cottage was built in 1870 and we have furnished it in keeping with its period but the kitchen and bathroom have modern fittings. There is a garden area available to sit outside in summer. A wood-burning stove can be lit for cosy evenings on chillier days.

Two beautiful bedrooms one of which can turn into single beds and each with their own bathrooms offers flexibility for both couples and families. We have a well equipped cooks kitchen with Everhot range and a stocked larder. Parking for three cars , EV charger , bike storage , gardens and a BBQ this is a great base to enjoy the magic of our Lakeland valley.

Dating back to 1695 (as engraved on the fireplace in the kitchen), the cottage retains many original features but has been sympathetically modernised. The cottage resides within our farm, Terrace Farm with open countryside and panoramic views of the Lakeland Fells and numerous Wainwrights including Melbreak, Whiteside, Low Fell, Hopegillhead to name but a few.
