This place. A rare touch of nature! An adventure where you go straight into living a life close to off the grid and lacking very little or nothing. Bring some good food for yourself and learn to use what is there. Jeffrey who works at 3 rivers gave us a local tour where he shared his pace and beautiful knowledge of the nature and all the growing plants. How they affects us and what we can use them for. We had a nurturing meal cooked by Jeffrey too. I recommend this place with my heart! We spend four days there and still have much left to experience. I went there solo-Mom with my 7 year young daughter and it was days of Paradise for us. Jem came to recieve us and took the first zip-Line rides with Tulsi which were a great welcome. Helpful place and hitchhiking amd busses are so recommended to do with a feeling of safety.

Stacey organized my pick up and drop off to the airport . Stacey her sister mom dad & husband are kind & pleasant. Easy to get along with & communicated well with me. I felt as though I was a friend visiting. On 2 different occasions her dad & husband took me to several villages . I also visited Kalinago Barana Aute and Concord River, beautiful sites I met people whom were respectful & courteous. I felt safe , comfortable. I walked to different parts of the area early on a morning. Late on evening i walked to part of the trail leading to the kalinago village by the sea. The area is peaceful surrounded by beautiful nature. The Ocean view is scenic, i loved hearing the sounds the ocean made, the area is breezy which was soothing. The apartment is equipped with what is needed, I was relaxed & felt at home. Though i was there for 1 day and a half , I thoroughly enjoyed my stay & with the help from Stacey & her family i had a wonderful time & experience. I will be back soon

We stayed three nights at Sian's and it was heaven. Sian and her family were so nice and welcoming. Sian cooked us delicious breakfasts and took time to answer all our questions and give us the best tips. She knows the island very well. The view from the cabin was delightful at every hour of the day. The place is incredibly beautiful and peaceful and it was so interesting to get to see how Sian handles her place, in almost total autonomy. She is very knowledgeable about plants. It was hard to leave... We recommend that you have a SUV to access Sian's.

We got in late due to a delayed flight with InterCaribbean airlines, and luckily N.Antoinette was very accommodating to stay in touch with us on the phone to find the cottage location, eventhough it was midnight. The next following days it was lovely to stay in our private cottage, with an amazing view of the mountains and very accommodating kitchen and amenities. N.Antoinette had so many good advises on where to eat and where to go. I recommend this place also since it's very central of the island , the island is one big circle so might as well be in the middle of it.

Lawrenson is one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet! So kind and generous! Always willing to share with you all the different produce growing on his property. Bananas, plantains, papayas, guavas, breadfruit, ginger, turmeric, coconuts, tania, limes, sugarcane etc! Listening to the crashing waves of the Atlantic are soothing and peaceful. The pleasant sea breeze is a blessing! There is plenty of room in the house. The kitchen is very well stocked with high quality stainless steel pots and pans. Make sure to bring the groceries you’ll need for your stay. Like Lawrenson says, the beauty of Dominica is in its simplicity! Good Hope is a beautiful quiet village. You’ll definitely need a 4 wheel drive vehicle which you should have in Dominica anyway! We visited Emerald Pool, Spanny Falls, Jacko Falls, Jacko Flats, Salton Falls which are all within 30 minutes. There is a gas station in the neighbouring village of San Sauveur. We truly enjoyed our 18 days in this mini paradise!

My wife and I had a delightful, relaxing, quiet five days at Maurice's place. The view is fabulous, with only our host's house nearby. The private beach and riverfront are beautiful, but the ocean waves can be rough. We bathed in the river. You are surrounded by nature, with dense jungle nearby reverberating with the sounds of birds and frogs. Highly recommended for a simple, back-to-nature vacation.

My 4y/o son and partner stayed at Melissa’s place. They loved it. They were set to arrive very late and Melissa made arrangements for them. They enjoyed zipping and walking around the property. They loved the food and said it was very fresh. My son felt right at home and helped in the kitchen. I can’t wait to visit.

This is hands-down one of the best, if not the best Airbnb I've ever had the pleasure of staying at: the house is gigantic, beautiful and very well-equipped (blender, grill, oven, cutlery, washing machine, etc), and the beds are extremely comfortable. It is located in a very quiet part of town, and it felt as if our only neighbors were cows and goats. As for Petter and Gemma, they were absolutely wonderful hosts: pleasant, very knowledgeable and extremely reactive, they've even helped us find a rental car in the nick of time when our initial plan fell through. I'm looking forward to staying at theirs again the next time I come to Dominica.
