Arty miners cottage, wild tin coast of Botallack

This old miners cottage has been colourfully transformed by the artist owner. Traditional granite walls keep the rooms cool in summer and on chilly evenings you can cosy up around the log burner. There is a good size garden with mature trees, a BBQ and outdoor dining area. It's the perfect base for exploring the mines of Botallack, where Poldark was filmed and is also close to many local beaches including Sennen Cove and Porthcurno. The house is not suitable for people with mobility issues.

A 20 min walk to the SW Coast path takes you to Porth Nanven Beach, (Guardian pick) or Cape Cornwall. Snug sitting room with a comfy couch, and wood burner. Easy parking. There are Studios discreet to the house, occupied by hosts. Unsuitable for people with mobility issues and small children.

Up the slightly steep painted staircase there’s a double bedroom (with bathroom leading off) and a twin bedroom. Please note: access to the bathroom is through the double bedroom.

You’ll love our place because of the location and views. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers and young families. It’s fantastic for surfing, sea swimming in the cove, coastal hiking and golf. There's a golf course close by to us that has an indoor swimming pool and restaurant.
