Paul was so quick to respond to any questions I had. He was also very friendly and helpful. Heavens Gate, WOW, the name says it all. The cabin is so beautiful and very well decorated. When you first walk in, you're on the second floor. There's large sliding doors that lead outside to the deck that has the most amazing views of the lake. It is truly breathtaking! They have a very well equipped kitchen. It has a regular pot & a K-cup maker which came in handy. There are games, tv, great wifi and an awesome hot tub! The hot tub was hot and clean. We quickly unpacked, made a mimosa and jumped right in. That view, also amazing! The Wifi worked outside to play tunes while we soaked in the tub & amazing views. The road was scary for this FL girl, but you do get use to it. Also deer walked around the house and we saw an eagle. The beds were super cozy and there were plenty of dressers to unpack. The master shower was so nice. I can go on and on... just book it, you will not regret it!

Amazing place! Beautiful setting. Gorgeous A-frame cottage on a hill overlooking a lovely river. Stylishly decorated and well-appointed with many amenities. Feels both cabiny and contemporary at once. So peaceful and private! Lovely deck and balcony. You can feel yourself relax upon arriving. Really a paradise where we felt so comfortable! We will return.

We had an amazing time during our stay. The views are incredible and Benson was a gracious host.

If we could give more than 5 stars, we would. My family of four stayed here with our dog and had a terrific time. We are already talking about when we can come back! Larry was very helpful and super responsive to our questions. The property is spotless and adorable yet modern. We enjoyed every convenience and the cutest coffee bar inside!

Our stay at Ridge Top Retreat exceeded our expectations! The cabin was one of the cleanest airbnbs I have ever stayed in. The hosts were extremely responsive to any questions before and during our stay. Very quiet location with a great view of the lake and a kayak to use if you would like to experience some time on the water. 10/10 stay overall!

The cabin was extremely clean, quiet area and cozy! Everything was organized and so many special touches. It was well stocked with everything that you would need for a getaway! The host was great and responded in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend and stay again the next time we are in the area!

Paul's place was just as described. Perfect for our family of 5. Everything was very neat and clean. Plenty of towels and linens. The screened in back porch was great for our grandson-Beautiful view as well. The fenced yard and beautiful landscaping was also a plus.

Amazing views …. This place is so peaceful, I felt like I was at a retreat! The big windows let in so much natural light throughout the day, and when you look out you see the most beautiful view of the lake. The decor and furniture is pristine, making the home extremely cozy!

Good place right on the New River. The valley is very quiet and secluded with only a few single family homes and vacation cabins scattered up and down the side slopes. Very casual and easy check-in. Kitchen and house very well equipped for lots of cooking and activities and entertainment. Hot tub was great. Very easy and ample space to roam for folks with pets. If you have a very low clearance vehicle like a corvette or something, check on bridge first, but 99% of vehicles will be fine even as crazy as it looks especially after Helene(notably, their bridge was one of the only small private bridges left after Helene that we saw). Want to come back in the summer one day for some tubing, perfect spot for it.
