My stay with Emily was excellent. The proximity to UC Berkeley and various stores makes the room a very good accommodation for visiting scholars (and others working at the university). I also got to know Emily's son and her dog, everyone made me feel at home from the beginning, even though I was far away (from Germany). I can only recommend Emily's place :-)

We had an amazing time here. We stayed with our 3 year old son and he had a great time playing with the toys provided and exploring the property. Staying in the caboose was a unique experience and one we would love to do again. Pat was very responsive to any of our questions and available for anything we needed during our stay. We would love to come back and stay someday.

We feel incredibly lucky to have stayed with Sandor and Giuliana. This was hands down one of the most special Airbnb experiences my wife and I ever had—and we’ve been using Airbnb for nearly 12 years. We were welcomed like family, and staying with them (and their adorable dog Georgio!) truly felt like a home away from home. We stayed for nearly two weeks and every morning started with breakfast and warm conversation—it’s the kind of hospitality you rarely find anymore. The location is amazing—right next to the Presidio and just steps from all the great shops and restaurants on Chestnut Street. Having parking was also super helpful since we had a rental car. This is what Airbnb used to be like back when they first started—personal, heartfelt, and full of real human connection. Sandor and Giuliana, thank you for opening your home to us. We're already looking forward to visiting again in the future.

This was such a lovely and secluded spot, to rest my head. Bed was super comfy! House layout was wonderful. And Deb was absolutely lovely! Plus, the fur babies were awesome, too! 💖💖😎😎

Our stay at the Slice of Heaven Ranch was everything and more. Real breakfast, homemade, fresh from the grounds. The environment was beautiful, I took a couple hundred photos. As a retired professional photographer, Shelly even gave me great tips and instructions. Horseback lessons were wonderful and well worth it! The bed was billed as the "most comfortable bed ever" and was very nice, but it was the super soft and cozy blankets and the nostalgic quilt that did it for me. Lots of room in dresser and closet. Fresh and fast water supply. Galt is not far away and easy to get to for groceries or shopping. The animals were also friendly and plentiful! We loved the dogs, and many of them loved us too. Chickens were happy and healthy. Cats were as friendly as cats can be, and we definitely caught up on petting therapy! The flowers and trees were in season with beautiful blooms. Even the temperature and weather were pretty ideal. We are already looking at returning options!

Beautiful garden in a nice Berkeley home. Very quiet and clean room with good private bathroom. Great location with many locations including our favorite store Berkeley Bowl (which should be added to your recommended places) in easy driving distance. Comfortable bed and Rachel had welcome goodies waiting for us in our room’s refrigerator. She was very accommodating with our delayed flight and helped us inside after we lost our instructions. Snacks in the refrigerator helped us late at night when we arrived. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We enjoyed our stay and the peaceful surroundings of the location. It was the perfect location for an anniversary party we attended in Aptos.

Susanna and her husband are terrific hosts. They met and welcomed us to the area. We felt right at home and really appreciate their kind hospitality. It was a great place to stay! Thank you, Susanna and John!

Had a fantastic stay at Janna’s place. It’s perfectly located and walkable to downtown Napa. Janna was kind enough to leave breakfast out for me and my partner before a very early half marathon race. The house was lovely and clean, and I’d be happy to stay again!

The best place in town! If you’re looking for a cute spot in an excellent location, look no further and book now. This charming place is in the middle of everything and Laura’s recommendations will help you decipher which spots to try first. Oh, and she left some yummy English muffins with fresh jam :) We’ll be back!

I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Delane’s home is lovely, well-maintained and beautifully decorated. The downtown area is within walking distance. Delane went out of her way to make me feel welcome and to ensure I was comfortable. Couldn’t ask for a better host!

Stayed in the Main suite, beautiful room with large ensuite. Easy access to full equipped kitchen,dining room and leaving room. Enjoyed meeting our host John Sr. who takes care of the common areas. Great stay while in Napa, close to downtown and very friendly hosts.

Great place. Wonderful modern remodel. Sarah and Pankaj have set up an ideal communal space. I was quite happy with my room, the house, the location… the price was relatively affordable for the area and SF. I had my car and thoroughly enjoyed having ample street parking in a safe peaceful neighborhood. Great city views and access to all you need. Convenient Whole Foods… and a pedestrian bridge over the 101 that puts you into the heart of the Mission District. I would happily return.

Doug and Richard were super accommodating and gave some of the best recommendations for food/bars/activities. The room has a nice street view and very clean. The cats are social and love to chill in bed in the early mornings. Overall a great place for a visit to San Francisco, I highly recommend!

Super friendly hosts. Sweetest dog named Ruby. Place is exactly as described. Was looking for something reasonably priced in the mountains. Emily’s place fits the bill perfectly. Will definitely come back again.

Fantastic spot to stay in Healdsburg! Breakfast and early morning coffee were exceptional as well.

The place looked just like the photos! It was clean and neatly set up. We checked in pretty late, but Emilie was really helpful and made everything easy. We didn’t get a chance to use it, but there was a small play area outside that would be great for kids.

Sandy is a great host! I felt right at home my stay, and would happily go back.

Alex and Nuby's place was great! I rented the house for Fri/Sat/Sun because my volunteer fire crew had a training at the nearby Ben Lomond training center and we didn't want to commute 90 minutes each way on training days! Alex and Nuby were SUPER flexible. When half our crew (4 additional people) had their accommodations fall through, Alex and Nuby allowed all 7 of us to stay in the house. There was a fold-out sofa and they brought in extra cots so everyone would have somewhere to sleep. They gave us a tour of the place when we arrived, were super responsive on AirBNB texts and generally let us have the run of the place. The house is VERY nice and the hot tub was exactly what we needed after long days of hard training. I will definitely plan to stay again in the future, when we have trainings nearby.

I had a wonderful stay. Felt like home. Teresa treated me like her daughter. If I will visit Sacramento again , I am staying at the same place for sure.

Darcy's and Nick's is a true b&b in the old-school sense. My wife and I enjoyed a fabulous, home-cooked breakfast every morning. The breakfast selection changed every day. As guest Dave-from-Bozeman wrote, Darcy bakes awesome sourdough bread, and it was freshly out of the oven for us to enjoy when we arrived. So, our stay started out on a high note (which was sustained throughout the stay). The space is clean, artfully decorated, comfortable, roomy, and the area is quiet. The location is great: about 1/2 block from Golden Gate Park. The hot tub on the upper patio was a delightful place to relax after long walks around the city. Darcy is the ultimate host (Nick was out of town, so unfortunately we did not get to meet him): she communicates quickly and clearly, and she is a great conversationalist. By the time we checked out, we had become friends with her. This was a 5-star stay in every aspect, and we look forward to our next stay at Darcy's and Nick's!
