This experience wildly exceeded my expectations. The house was recently renovated (or sure appeared to be) so everything was in extraordinarily great condition. It was super clean, extremely well appointed with kitchen, bathroom and bedroom items. You cannot beat the view - so close to the water and just beautiful. Also, can't say enough about how friendly and responsive Eileen and Rich were during our stay. I would absolutely stay here again!

It was exactly what we needed and more. Perfect vacation

We were so thankful for a beautiful family vacation on Lake Huron. This house is wonderful for all ages and the hosts were very supportive and proactive to ensure all our needs were met. The property was so quiet and peaceful, the perfect getaway!

We stayed here for a long weekend with relaxation being our goal. The house is exactly as pictured and described. It is a beautiful home that was the perfect place for us to escape our busy lives while having all the modern comforts. We loved being able to view the lake from so many rooms. Since it was a cool fall weekend, we didn’t get in the water, but we were able to enjoy walking the beach and watching the sunrise over the lake each morning. The backyard is set up to be able to enjoy the view throughout the day. Vicki has done an amazing job making sure the house is beautifully appointed while also being comfortable. She was a great host and very easy to work with. We absolutely loved every part of our stay and hope to come back soon!

We had an amazing stay! The home was fully stocked with everything we needed—extra soaps, detergents, paper towels, and toiletries. The pantry had a great variety of spices (including Tajin!), and the fridge was stocked with basics. The beds were super clean and comfortable, and the home itself was cozy and spotless. We loved the Bluetooth speaker too. Even when we needed scotch tape for a birthday sign, we found it there. The jacuzzi was a fantastic way to unwind, and we really enjoyed it during our stay. The only issue was with the grill; although it was listed as an amenity, the Blackstone didn’t work, even after we refilled the gas tank. We ended up cooking on the fire pit in 5-degree weather, but it worked out! The location was quiet and peaceful, perfect for unwinding. Overall, we rate this home a 9/10 and would love to return, especially in the summer to use the putt-putt! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable, well-equipped home away from home.

Family friendly home with extremely clean and comfortable rooms. The space was organized had thoughtful amenities for shower, laundry, kitchen, and even games for kids or all ages. A short walk to the lake and restful backyard. We loved our stay and would love to come back to the Lake House! 🏠 🌊 ⛵️

If this location is available during the days you need it, stop looking. You struck gold and stay here before someone else takes your spot. Up and down the coast, you wont find a better spot for an AirBnB. So grateful to have stayed here for over 2 months and it was a flawless experience. I wish the owners all the success and thank you for taking care of our family while in Fort Gratiot!

We enjoyed our stay at Mike’s place. The place is beautiful, updated, clean, and well equipped with everything for a fun summer stay—comfy beds, cozy sun room, a nice kitchen, a grill, a fire pit, beach chairs and towels, and easy access to the beach. Self check in and check out was easy, and the neighborhood was nice for walking with our dog. The guest book has other visitors’ useful tips for enjoying the area!

This was our second time staying here so obviously we love the location and this house. Close to the beach, friendly neighborhood. Thank you for being Pet friendly and dogs are allowed on the beach before 08:30-Something we appreciate. We would be privileged to stay here again if we don’t buy our own cottage this coming year. Thank you for sharing this beautiful home.

This is a lovely home for a family. Spiral staircase might be a challenge, but it was wonderful for us. I couldn’t find the vacuum because I didn’t look. They brought me one without telling me there was already four in the house! 😂 it was quiet for the week of Christmas with nobody in the neighborhood. I completely lovely spot with everything we needed, and we will be back! Whoever their contractor was thought of every touch to make it comfortable and well constructed for an old house everything has been replaced and is lovely. Very beautiful and comfortable. The family room and the kitchen were just great and very open. You should stay here.

We arrived after dark the first day, in the morning we awoke to amazing views and the tranquility of the waves crashing and wind blowing through the leaves. The cottage is very quaint and cozy. Perfect weekend getaway.

It’s a stunning place and spacious and clean throughout. Private beach in back side of house and swim spa is great addition.

The house worked great for our girls’ weekend away. The hot tub location was perfect for peaceful evening dips or watching the sunrise after a dip in the lake. The kitchen was well-organized and well stocked with many of the basics - making packing simpler. The guest house (behind the main house) would be great for a second family. We didn’t use it except to shower, but only because we didn’t need the space w the main house accomodating 8+. The paddle boards and kayaks were awesome to have and the beach/water was wonderful for a fall getaway. The house is located right between Port Santilac and Lexington. Both towns have wonderful options for dining and bars (including live music). We golfed nearby on Huron Shores course and love the course and views. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️10/10 would rent again. Only complaint (if you could call it that) would be the hot tub cover is SUPER heavy. So we struggled taking it off and putting back on. But idk if you could get something lighter for a spa of th

great location for a group of friends looking to spend quality time together

This house was everything we were looking for and matched the description. The house allowed my co-workers and I a quiet, comfortable space to come back to and work and relax. My only feedback is about the showers. Most had no doors which caused water to splash out on the floor which is distressing when you’re trying to respect the house. Anyway, I would love to come back in the summer!! Thanks
