From the very beginning, Clare and Sacha made us feel so welcome in their space. When we walked in the door, all of us did a collective gasp. The love and attention that went into building the space is so obvious. The huts are beautifully designed, and have everything that you need for a comfortable stay. The pool was awesome, and we loved swimming and rinsing in the outdoor shower. The location was great to walk to the beach. They recommended us lots of great local transportation and food options. The breakfast that their staff cooked was delicious. Overall great experience and would definitely recommend!

Garret and Laura’s place was lovely. Me and my family were very comfortable and spent a great time there. We loved the kitchen and pool the most. The check in was very easy, the house had everything we needed and they were within reach all the time. Looking forward to come back soon <3

Great location!! Very responsive and helpful host. We had a wonderful time living on the beach for a week and still being within walking distance to food and a local bar/beach club. Would definitely come back!

As a super host myself, all what I can say : Wonderful stay in an amazing neighbourhood! The staff are highly responsive and available from the beginning to the end. They call me 3 days before I arrive to confirm my arrival. They suggest a good taxi driver to pick me up from Managua airport. Jose Flores, the driver, offer an excellent service, so we booked with him for the return! The guidebook is AMAZINGLY useful! READ IT! This is a very quiet area. There were no barking dogs at night. It is safe to walk alone. Friendly neighbourhood. 15-20 minutes walking to down town by the beach, wich is very nice. I recommend this place with no hesitation. Thank the Paul team, they made our vacacation wonderful!

Our experience was great and Grethel was a very responsive host. There is a construction on the road so it is very important to have a 4x4 vehicle.

Ben's place in San Juan Del Sur exceeded our expectations! The views were absolutely breathtaking – we were lucky enough to enjoy both stunning sunrises and sunsets from our balcony or the rooftop pool. It was truly magical. The location was ideal; just a quick drive into town, giving us the perfect balance of peaceful seclusion and easy access to restaurants and activities. Ben was an exceptional host, incredibly responsive, and his staff were equally helpful. We felt very well taken care of throughout our stay. As parents traveling with a 10-month-old, safety and comfort were paramount. We felt completely secure and at ease, which made our vacation truly relaxing. The beautiful pool was a fantastic bonus, perfect for cooling off and enjoying the stunning scenery. We highly recommend Ben's place for anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay in San Juan Del Sur. It's especially wonderful for families!

Everything about this place was stunning. The view is incredible. The decor and layout is gorgeous. Place is very clean and there are plenty of towels. I particularly loved being able to see the statue of Christ while doing my dishes! Steep hill but our car made it up, and super close to town where all the action is. Host was flexible with our check in and out times.

We loved our weekend at Dan’s - the view is truly stunning! The house has a unique blend of indoor and outdoor spaces that maximize enjoyment of the setting (upstairs balcony, front porch, and pool to gaze out at the ocean and then a side porch + back dining area to listen to the sounds of the forest!). Villa Tortuga felt private and secluded, but with the perks of being in the Villa Maderas community. AC worked well in the bedrooms and the ceiling fans kept the downstairs cool. We were able to walk down to the beach front restaurants at Playa Maderas and Juanita’s Kitchen (though be aware that it’s a fair amount of stairs) and also made the short drive to Machete for brunch. Road can be steep and bumpy so having an SUV helped. Dan was extremely responsive, flexible, and clear in instructions. Overall a great experience to disconnect and relax - we hope to be back!

This was a great find! We really enjoyed San Juan del Sur, and this was a good spot to feel out of the way from the hustle and bustle of town. The pool was amazing, and the views were incredible!! The drive in was a little difficult weaving around parked vehicles, and also had a very steep drive in (this was mentioned in other reviews, so not entirely unexpected.) These aren't entirely within Karin's control, so we understand that. It would have been nice to know about the 15Kwh per day energy budget beforehand, though as far as we know we didn't exceed it. Given how much the sun beats into the windows during the day, it got very hot inside, and we felt like we couldn't use the AC as much as we'd have liked to. Overall, we would definitely recommend the Loft to other travelers coming to the area who are looking to be set up outside of downtown. It's a good value for the money.
