Phil was a great host and responded quickly to our texts. He had bread and fresh eggs waiting for us. We enjoyed walking the premises, lots to see. I especially like woken up by a rooster. It’s a very peaceful and quaint home. Check-in was easy.

The Saunna works well. If you have a pet with you the small fenced yard is great. But if you pet is small, beware of gaps at the gate and by house. Escape artist dogs should stay on a leash. The enclosed porch is very cosy. Over all a very nice space.

This is the most fully equipped kitchen we have seen in all our Airbnb's so far. We were able to cook the basics with simple seasonings and commonly used sauces on hand. Everything I needed to do some home baking for our son while we visited him at college. Very clean, beds were comfortable, instructions were well laid out and easy to follow. This place was exactly what we needed as a home base to spend time with our very busy aviation student between his classes and flights.

I have stayed here many times this past year and the hosts are very friendly and helpful. The house is homey and relaxing to stay in. The neighborhood around is great for walking, with a free winter trail on the golf course just steps away. I highly recommend this home!

My kids and I felt right at home at this location. It was clean and comfy with everything needed. The washer and dryer was a huge plus!!!

The cabin is in a beautiful setting on the river . Eagles flew by every day . Very peaceful.

We loved this place. Horseshoe drive with plenty of room for parking and trailers. Comfy and spacious living room. Access to pole barn and close to tails and town. Mattresses were uncomfortable but that's our only complaint. We really enjoyed our stay here, felt like a home.

We stayed at Pond #8 which was a short drive from the main resort. We didn’t use any of the resort amenities because we enjoyed our cabin so much! The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s the perfect wilderness getaway. The staff at check in/out were very friendly. We will definitely be coming back and staying longer.

Breathtaking views for a lovely winter getaway! Plentiful surroundings for snowshoeing along the lake, through the wooded yard and enjoying deer sightings. Hugh was always responsive and friendly.

We had an incredible stay at Rusting Maples! We stayed for 3 months while building our home. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to be! Very cozy and relaxing, we had everything we ever needed and more! I can’t say enough about it!!! We loved it!

Overall great stay. Pet friendly and there is an enclosed backyard. Gregory had hired someone to shovel/plow snow, but they came quite early in the morning, which was unavoidable, but something to consider in the winter and you have young children or have brought along a dog.

This was our second time staying at this lovely Airbnb. We enjoy it because it is so private and quiet. The beds are really comfortable and we had a good rest before hitting the road again for a long drive to Northwestern Ontario. Thank you for hosting us!

Exceptional Visit - Host and Location We thoroughly enjoyed this location and the host, Amy and Randy. This was first time visit to the Mackinaw City/Mackinac Island/St Ignace and this location provided all the comforts of home, exceptionally clean. It was easy travel to the ferry, restaurants, and other sights. If we ever travel back to this area we would definitely book here again!!

My boyfriend and I stayed here a couple of nights to go to Mackinac island and lakeshore. We brought our dog along and it was the perfect cabin vibe we were looking for. We had some lovely peaceful mornings able to make breakfast (we brought a hot plate) and coffee (keurig). We were able to have a bonfire and look at the stars too, perfect tranquil camp vibe with string lights on the porch. There was a short path we could walk the dog around the campsite in the mornings that felt safe. Only 15 minutes away from Mackinaw city.

I know it listed sleep up to 9 which it can. But it was way bigger than any of us expected. Very clean. Plenty of towels, silverware, kitchen stuff, everything. We were all impressed. 15 mins from whitefish point, 15 minutes from tahquamenon, very convenient, very peaceful. We’ll definitely be back! Great price!
