The Timberjack

Although it's a rustic homage to the lumberjacks and jills of yesteryear, this cabin includes many of the comforts we now enjoy including a queen bed, kitchenette with fridge, hot water, AC/heat, a Keurig coffeemaker, smart TV and charcoal grill. The Timberjack is surrounded by trees right on Lake Hayward and close to downtown Hayward. Launch your canoe just steps from the cabin, walk into town for lunch, or go hiking or skiing on the nearby trails, this cabin is nestled in the ideal location!

Or you could go hang out at the city beach just half a mile away or launch your boat at the public launch (same place). Also just a short walk to downtown for great coffee, food and drink. A rustic experience in the middle of the Northwoods awaits! This cabin is a unique opportunity to truly unplug and unwind. Situated on Pacwawong Springs, you can sit on the dock and contemplate your day's adventure; paddle over to the Namakagon River from the dock? Ride the CAMBA bike trails? Ski the famous American Birkebeiner ski trail? Visit attractions in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National forest? All these are within minutes. At days' end, unwind on the deck and soak in the night stars!

Hemlock Haven Resort 1

Our small resort is reminiscent of the gems that are largely gone in the Northwoods. A quiet, peaceful cabin on the shore of a sportsmen's lake. Barker Lake is a 240 acre lake set in the National Forest. Wildlife is more plentiful than people. Just 25 min southeast of Hayward gets you to the tourist action if you want it. A 14' rowboat comes with the cabin and motor can be rented. The lake is a class A musky lake with smallmouth and various panfish. Kayaks are available free of charge.

You’ll love my place because of the outdoors space, the view, use of pier. Inside we have all the comforts of home, TV, dishwasher, refrigerator with ice-maker, fireplace (gas),there is also a queen size sofa bed in the living room. Sunset Apartment" has a north woods modern feel with large Sunny windows facing the lake. Enjoy sunset apartment stay on beautiful Callahan Lake with excellent fishing, amazing sunsets. Pets are very welcome,$15 per day per pet fee.

Right on the Tuscobia Trail, this newly remodeled cabin situated on 30 acres, has all you need for a great stay. 5 min from the Lake Winter boat accessand right across the road from the river. Cabin has circular drive for easy parking of your trailer or boat. Includes central air, WiFi, dishwasher and laundry. 2 covered porches allow you to sit outside and enjoy the wildlife and the Great Northwoods! We do not allow parking on the property prior to 3pm check in.

Escape to the Northwoods of Wisconsin. This is a quiet, peaceful place to stay. The house is set in the woods with deer strolling through the property. There is access to snowmobile trails 9 and 15 and plenty of truck and trailer parking. Round Lake and other area lakes are nearby for ice fishing. We are about 5 miles from the Birkie trail parking and access.
