Wonderful host, would for sure stay here again. Absolutely accommodating, even helped me with my transportation during my flight day which would not have been possible without him. There are also small markets near by for snacks with reasonable prices so you’re not overpaying.

I highly recommend to stay at Hale's place. Very safe area. We had a wonderful night. We wished we had more time to stay. Hale is very informative and welcoming. The location is in a serene area. You can ride the bus to the center or enjoy a 30 minutes walk. We loved the cats around.

We were so pleased to have chosen Marmara Guest House. It was exactly as advertised, so well located, and affordable. The top floor terrace and breakfast and on-site staff were very helpful. Would rewcommend it to anyone easily. Thanks.

We had 2 nights at Marmara Guesthouse and found it was in a great location near the Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace. The reception guys had good English and helped with our luggage. It is a quiet place with double glazing and aircon/heating in our room. Internet was very good. The breakfast was fabulous with so many choices and foods to try. Sadly the coffee wasn’t very strong and the bed mattress was too firm. But they’re just small things. Recommend Marmara !

What a gem of a Guesthouse Elif has created at Marmara. Whilst the location is perfect near to all the major sites the guesthouse itself is an oasis of calm where one can retreat back after a day of pounding the streets. Everyone who works there couldn't have been more helpful, warm and welcoming and very quick to rectify any problems one had. The breakfast was utterly delicious with so much choice from delicious vegetable dishes to eggs, both boiled and scrammbled, to all sorts of delicious pastries and breads. As a result one was able to enjoy a feast before setting off for the day and all with a spectacular view. The room I ended up sleeping in was also very comfortable and a lovely place to come back to with its view of the sea. I will definitely be returning but next time with my husband and son!

A great place to stay- 5min from Hagia / Blue Mosque with plenty of dining options and convenience stores just around the corner. There is also a laundry next door with a 2 hour turnaround time. Staff were all super friendly and helpful with very good English. Room was very comfortable and quiet with good air-conditioning and a good shower. Complimentary breakfast was fresh and tasty with many options. If I return to Istanbul, I'd definitely stay here again.

We stayed for 2 nights and the place was great, it’s right on the sea and everything was comfortable. Their breakfast is great and the cafe is beautifully decorated with art and calm music. Mehmet bey was very supportive and the other people as well. Also there are tables on the balcony and in the room, it would be great for working on personal projects. We would come again! Thank you Ozlem for a wonderful stay at your place while in Istanbul. The bed was very comfortable and I thoroughly enjoyed the rooftop breakfast with fabulous views every morning and stunning sunrise from there as well. Cozy and cute street and friendly helpful staff. This is the perfect place for sight seeing in the centre of Istanbul walkable to the main sights. The hotel is clean and room exactly as described. The private bathroom is just across the corridor with a good shower. The breakfasts were excellent! The owners were very friendly and helpful. This is a ‘no frills’ hotel, exactly what we wanted and very good value

İrfan bey güleryüzlü biri çok memnun olduk. Odamız sıcak, temiz ve konforluydu. Eşimle birlikte rahat 2 gece geçirdik. Yeri Akaretler’de çok güzel bir konumda. Bir daha yolumuz düşerse yine tercih edeceğimiz yer burası olur. 🌿

I really loved this place and it will now be my go to location for central Istanbul. Incredible value given where it is: right at the centre of best part of the city, with beautiful views of the Blue Mosque and surrounding area, yet far enough away from the main road to be peaceful. The staff were also really proactive and helpful with everything I needed. I highly recommend this place.

Denize yakın, temiz ve aile ortamı. Bizim gibi Bungalowa alışkın olmayanlar için alışmak biraz zor olabilir, fakat bundan sonraki Edremit seferlerimde ilk tercihim burası olacaktır.

Everything was gine, the host was so kind and gracious. The building is old but clean.

Odalar temizdi, doğal güzel ortam.

Aylin hanımın yeri çok güzeldi. Kahvaltı ve olanaklar anlatıldığı gibiydi. Mekan tertemiz ve denize 0 olması çok güzeldi. Bahçesi özellikle geceleri çok keyifliydi. Yardımcı Gülay hanım çok yardımcı ve ilgiliydi. Ancak Süleymanpaşa bölgesine ilk gidişimizdi. Sahile 10 metre kadar ( kral yolu olarak geçen, tarihi kalıntılar) paralel büyük sert kayalıklar var. Rahatça yüzemiyorsunuz. Özellikle çocuklar için çok zorlayıcıydı. Bacaklarımız kollarımız kayalar yüzünden kesikler içinde kaldı.
