Our first visit to Bath was wonderfully enhanced by an over night stay with Petra & Dick; they were most welcoming, flexible with our wishes to check-in and made us feel right at home from the start to finish. The short bus ride from their house into Bath was very scenic as a bonus! Would wholeheartedly recommend a stay at this very nice place with an incredible garden of many levels providing sanctuary and scenic views - we were fortunate to enjoy some beautiful weather with the lovely breakfast they served outside too! We didn't feel like guests, we felt like we had known them all along :0)

Smallish bedroom in a very cute old cottage. Good for a short stay of couple of days or so. Modernized kitchen and spacious bathroom with power shower. Olivia was very helpful, friendly, and flexible with checking/out, and offered suggestions on local activities. The dog Ted was friendly and very hyper, but stayed out of the bedroom. Excellent breakfast with range of cereals, toast and homemade jam, tea, coffee for a good start to the day. Very central location in Frome. (Listing says both shared and private bathroom in different paces, but it really is private). Good value, and highly recommended.

We stayed just one night but wish it could have been more! The house was so comfortable and Anne and her husband were lovely! We hope we'll be back in Cardiff soon and would definitely stay again! Thanks so much for having us.

We really loved staying here - our getaways with a toddler + 2 dogs can be stressful, but this was such a great place to stay that it removed all stress. The location was peaceful and quiet, the village itself was small and walkable for the local pub and playground for our daughter. It was easy to drive to local tourist spots and all the roads were fine. The accommodation itself was comfortable and clean and had all we needed. Can’t thank our hosts enough for such a pleasant stay.

Oh, my! Naomi’s was beyond my dreams. It’s true. Lovely, lovely spot. And Naomi is, simply, what a gracious host should be. I felt so at home that I sensed I’d long lived there. I am very grateful I found Naomi’s and that, in all my own busy-ness, I was able to spend some time talking and listening. I will be back as soon as I can. That’s true, too. 🙏🙏

Mike and Celia are two friendly interesting people. They welcomed me into their home and everything is available to use. I highly recommend a stay here.

Such a wonderful find! We loved that we had our own wing of the house. Huge ultra comfortable bed with soft linen in a warm, cosy, beautifully lit and decorated bedroom. The bathroom had the same attention, with large shower and big soft towels. We had use of a living room with an enormous soft sofa. In the morning Sophie made us the most delicious muesli, that I keep thinking of since eating!, with warm croissants and extra fruits. We both felt thoroughly spoilt. There was such an amazing attention to detail, she had thought of everything we may need. We just need to find another excuse to stay there!! Thank you so much Sophie & Paddy for a truly wonderful stay!

Had a lovely 2 night stay. Ann’s house is really nice and spotlessly clean. The bedroom and bathroom are light and airy and have everything you could possibly need. The breakfast was very good and the homemade Welsh Cakes absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend staying here.

It's difficult to 'say a few words' in the space allotted because from the welcome to the assistance with our departure, everything was perfection. I have owned a historic inn, am a participant in the Air B&B in the US and a world traveler and can say with confidence that our stay at The Cider Barn was the best Air B&B experience we've ever had. Louise is the consummate hostess and excels at gracious hospitality. She is a concierge who is not only knowledgeable but makes the experience happen. She generously provided transportation to and from a wedding reception for us as we found the small lane driving at night quite intimidating as Americans. Even finding the 'hidden gem' was a challenge for us but well worth it and we boosted our learning curve as time went on, all too quickly. The property is exquisite; it easily qualifies for submission in Architectural Digest. We are deeply grateful to Louise, our hostess, and any guest is fortunate to stay here.

David en Paul zijn duidelijk ervaren hosts. heel aardig, open (en grappig) en super behulpzaam. wij raden deze airbnb van harte aan. Mochten we ooit in de buurt weer wat gaan doen dan komen we graag weer genieten van het heerlijke ontbijt!

Fantastic place to stay! Close to bath and Bradford on Avon both very beautiful places. Helen gave a very warm welcome and was a great host throughout our 2 night stay. Accommodation was lovely, clean tidy plus very quiet and tranquil. Can walk to the local pub across the field (definitely worth a visit) and walk or cycle in to Bradford on Avon in no time at all. My partner and I cycled along the canal to bath in a few hours stopping along the way. Stopped in the town centre and got the train back with bikes. Breakfast was lovely and Helen was very accommodating for a food allergy. We would definitely stay again :) Rob & Sam

Honestly can say this was the best experience of an Airbnb myself and partner had. A very warm welcome, treated like a part of the family. The room was very spacious and a lovely bathroom. Comfortable bed and the added teas, coffees, biscuits were a great touch. The breakfast was out of this world. Everything you could of asked for. What a lovely experience, thank you Sarah and Mark. We will visit again.

It's a shame we only stayed for 1 night, the property was lovely, very well furnished. Lots of little extras really made it feel special. Lots of Board games to play with. Charges in every room, Lots of coffee and teas, cereals. The location was really lovely, wish we was there for longer.

We stayed at Sue’s lovely place for a wedding nearby! She was so warm and welcoming. The beds were really comfy and the water pressure was great. She made us breakfast in the morning with yoghurt, fresh fruit and toast, and gave us a little tour around their home - the old chapel! Lovely stay and we’d definitely go back! Thank you xx

Unfortunately, I had to cancel my stay at the last minute. Alison was extremely helpful, always very responsive in communications, gave very detailed location and access instructions, was very flexible re arrival times etc. I hope to rebook with Alison asap!

Lyn and John were fantastic hosts - being generous with lively conversation but also providing options for privacy as desired. I paid a reduced rate due to some regulars being out of town, but they are already providing an excellent value classic bed and breakfast service with homestay personal touches. Lyn offers a full cooked breakfast and cereals to all guests, but was happy to make adjustments to tastes and needs. John also makes a tasty coffee from the espresso machine. I would be glad to return if I am able to find a moment when they are not fully booked!

The Loft was the perfect place to stay for our trip to Dorset. Everything felt very clean and the room had everything we needed including a lovely breakfast selection and a nice big shower. We had a very peaceful night's sleep as the location is really quiet but still close enough to plenty of attractions. Maria was very responsive and we received a very warm welcome. We'd definitely return again :)

We had a great stay at Claudine & David’s place, they were extremely welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and the bed very comfy with a lovely view out to sea. The location was perfect for exploring the local sites - you can walk to Lynton and the valley of the rocks (the vernacular railway is within a 5 min walk if you don’t fancy climbing the hill!)

I arrived tired after driving through lashing rain. I was made to feel immensely welcome. Everything was very fine indeed and Rachel had put a lot of thought into providing everything needed for a comfortable stay.

I stayed with Avril for one night and she is a very good host. The place was spotless, and in my room, which had a lockable door, I had tea and coffee making facilities, plus use of the main kitchen, for which she had bought me bread to toast for breakfast, as well as some chocolate filled buns. It's now my go to place to stay whenever I visit the area.

Stayed whilst working locally - absolutely beautiful location with very friendly and welcoming hosts - would highly recommend

Lovely old cottage with beautiful decor. Denise was super responsive and her instructions and visitor book were second to none with the details! We checked in super easily and felt right at home with some lovely welcome treats! The village is great although a little quieter than we had anticipated - the white horse inn is a must. The stairs leading to the bedrooms are quite steep - being 7 months pregnant was a bit of a challenge but perhaps more of an oversight on our part there and not a fault of the home! Definitely the place to go if you plan to do lots of walking - beautiful scenic routes.
