Marc’s place is in a great location and well appointed. Marc communicates well. Although the power went off several times every day, it was not too disruptive.

Ruby and Eddie were incredibly helpful with everything we needed during our stay. The apartment was absolutely beautiful, with a stunning view of the ocean. The pool was large and lovely, also overlooking the sea, with charming hemp parasols that created such a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. Honestly, the pictures don’t do justice to how wonderful the area truly is—it’s even better in person! The apartment was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay, and then some. We also had a delightful woman who came to clean every second or third day. She changed the sheets and washed the towels, making sure everything was always fresh and spotless. Overall, everything was fantastic, and I highly recommend this place. It exceeded all our expectations!

There are plenty of tourist apartments on the Airbnb that are similar if not nicer than the beach hotels. But when I travel, I like to live in neighborhoods, among the citizens who live in that country. That’s why I stay in Alieu’s home. It’s literally his home, with his room locked off, but three more bedrooms are available for guests. It’s not on a busy paved street and there will be an occasional goat walking by and definitely a dog sleeping on the street in the dust. But it’s a lovely home, with solar power back up, AC in every room, a gas stove and a good refrigerator and a spacious living room and everything I need including Wi-Fi. Things go wrong as usual in life, and Alieu has always responded immediately. And his guard Wally is always on premises to take care of smaller issues. All in all it feels like we’re living in a Gambian home in a Gambian neighborhood. And walking to the corner shop to buy some water or some eggs were the only tourists around.

I have booked one of Pa Ousmans apartments many times. I only book my holiday in the Gambia (28 times now), if one of his places is available. That is evidence enough for my opinion about his offers… I tried some other places before, but nothing was satisfying. Then I found my second home there!😃👍

We hebben een week verbleven in de appartement. Ahmed was vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Appartement was goed en comfortabel. De enige minpuntje was dat er 1 beveiliging op en aanmerkingen had over mijn 11 jarige zoon die lekker bij het zwembad aan het spelen was. Er verbleven daar meer oudere mensen die de hele dag aan het zonnen zijn bij het zwembad. Er wordt geen begrip getoond (door beveiliging) voor de wat jongere mensen. Die ook plezier wilt hebben. Om die reden zou ik niet nog een keer bij deze appartementen complex boeken. Niets dan positieve ervaring met Ahmed ik zal deze appartement zeker aanbevelen voor mensen die zonder kinderen reizen.

Ik kwam heel laat aan in de nacht. De receptie was heel vriendelijk, zelfs op dit uur. Mijn late vertrekuur is ook opgelost geweest met een supplement. Het contact met de eigenaars verliep ten allen tijde snel en duidelijk. Tijdens mijn verblijf wel door bed gevallen, al ben ik niet dik. Maar dit is opgelost door de maintenance van Forest View. Ik, persoonlijk dacht door de foto’s, dat er 2 slaapkamers waren maar hebben bed dan maar gedeeld. Alles was, qua comfort, aanwezig in studio. De sofa is daarentegen aan vervanging toe. Die zit heel oncomfortabel. Zowel leefruimte en slaapkamer is voorzien van airco. Je krijgt op regelmatige basis bezoek van vriendelijke aapjes op je terras die maar al te graag fruit smullen. Gambia kampt met regelmatige stroomonderbrekingen maar er is een reserve generator die dit snel oplost. De buurt zelf is aangenaam met alles vlakbij. Veel last van de uitgangsbuurt heb je niet. Er is een leuk zwembad die gedurende de volledige dag netjes wordt gehouden

Ein nettes kleines Appartement mit guter Ausstattung. Waschmaschine, Kühlschrank, Klimaanlage, Warmwasser, Mikrowelle und sogar ein Toaster waren da. Gefreut hat uns auch, dass ein Tablett bereit stand mit Salz, Zucker, Keksen und Wasser...(eine kleine Menge Waschmittel gibt es beim mini market nebenan für 10 Dalasi). Die Anlage ist sauber und am Rand von Senegambia gelegen, so dass es nicht allzu laut ist und man zu Fuß zu vielen Restaurants, dem Monkey park und zum beach laufen kann. Mounir hat immer schnell auf Nachrichten reagiert. Und da es eine Rezeption und Nachtwächter gibt, hat man immer einen Ansprechpartner. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen.

This place is really a very nice place to stay while you visit Gambia, you really get the privacy they promise, a local Gambia family lives at the condo whom are responsible for the security and gardening. Another Gambia guy will pick you at the airport, and he will arrange anything you need, and is also a perfect guide when you want to do a trip. The condo is in Bijilo area, not far from the beach, but a 10 minutes walk is slightly underestimated in my opinion, but the beach itself is very nice, if you want to go the beach once. The Senegambia strip is only a few minutes by taxi. The garden is in good condition, with a swimming pool which is very big and cool and maintained everyday and you don't need to share it with other people. Sunbeds and umbrella's are available, although due to the moving sun we needed to move the sunbeds very often to get into shade, which is no-one to blame I think. The appartement were clean and decently equipped with a bathroom, with toilet, hot water shower and a sink.The bedrooms have enough storage a good bed and air conditioning. The Kitchen is very well equipped, it has everything you need, we even tried the bbq. We didn't meet the host Annie in person since she does not live in the Gambia, but I liked all contact I have had with Annie she provided us with a lot of information in advance, and I felt that she really wanted us to have a pleasant stay and instructed the local team to make that happen, I know she checked with them everyday if we we doing well. I really do recommend this place, I have had a much better experience than staying in a hotel/resort.
