An extremely welcoming place that had many things to do and accommodating our autistic children very well! It was a shame we didn't get the chance to make s'mores! We would love to come back to this place sometime since it is so peaceful and homey! We watched older movies that we forgot about! Thanks for the DVDs!

We love staying at Bill and Cindy’s place and enjoy the quiet and peaceful surroundings. The Alpacas are beautiful and make the visit special. We look forward to future visits.

Gerry’s place is just what I needed to disconnect. Close to some good hiking and outdoor activities. The place itself has everything you need for a short peaceful stay. Gerry himself was very welcoming and hospitable. I loved this place. I will definitely favorite to go back sometime.

if you stay here, and you should, please take the time to notice AND appreciate the detail, decore, and the detail that went into the renovation of this 'chalet'. I say this because I have spent a great deal of time in Bavaria and the Alps and this place is three different areas in one cohesive BnB. the photos and descriptions do not truly tell the story... this 'chalet' is AWESOME and it's within about 800 yards of a dozen great hikes with amazing Vistas...

We had a wonderful stay! The hosts were so responsive and so friendly. They were very accommodating and very understanding that we had a small child there were children’s books and the environment was so clean. I would 100% stay again and I’m so happy with the experience that we had.

My partner, pup, and I had a lovely and cozy stay!! Lots of thoughtful touches, cool artwork, and supplies. We enjoyed using the fire pit right by the creek, our dog was obsessed with the sun room, and we loved exploring the sculpture garden!

This place was our best choice even before we realized there would be a freshly-prepared, multi-course gourmet breakfast. House is as advertised, clean, and well-located. Scott and Lisa are friendly, responsive, and fantastic cooks. Enjoy!

Once again we had a delightful stay at our VA happy place. Such beautiful surroundings and a charming house. Ann and Jim are wonderful hosts, Everytime we've been blessed to visit. If you're looking for a lovely place, on the lake, with exceptional accommodations and hosts, this is your place!

We only stayed for 1 night but would definitely have enjoyed more. Pretty much everything you needed was provided. The cabin was clean and cozy ! The bathroom was spacious and well stocked. Bed was comfy and big enough for our daughter to sleep with us. Surrounding area was simple and pretty farmland. We loved meeting Shea !

Scott’s place was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. Having a place to stay outside of the busy city was perfect. My partner and I loved having an Airbnb versus a hotel room. We had a hotel room for our last trip to Charlottesville and it felt so cramped and stuffy. Scott’s home was very well set up and laid out. The beautiful farm animals and cute fluffy dogs were a HUGE plus!

This was a great place to stay with our two dogs. It was a 5 minute drive to town for restaurants, breweries, trivia, and music, and we found very nice hiking within a half hour or so. The place is very spacious and pleasant, easy for dog walking, and quiet at night. Elizabeth was very nice and always responded quickly, and self checkin using the code was simple.We would definitely stay here again

We really enjoyed our stay at this adorable guest house! We had everything we needed and we found the stay to be cozy and clean. The directions we received for check in were clear and easy. We had a great weekend exploring local hikes and breweries. Would recommend this stay!

Jason and Jen were very responsive to our questions and requests. This space is spectacular for large groups that want to day hike. If some of your guests want to thru hike and others do not, this is a great place on the west side closer to the VA triple crown! I would highly recommend this place for hikers and family reunions. This is a gem on the west side of Roanoke!

This was a great place and location for our trip to Shenandoah. Brent was a great host and made us feel right at home. We had our 1 year old daughter with us and Brent was very kind to let her pet their horses. The cottage was a perfect size for our small family and there was nearby access to the Shenandoah river where you could go float, fish, or whatever water activities you like. We would definitely come back to stay at this awesome place. Thanks again to the hosts.

Freeman's little guest house was a perfect place for my academic work trip. The space is so well appointed I could focus to edit my lecture and other writing, dress to feel confident for various meetings with new colleagues across the university (with mirrors in all the right places), and hang out with friendly colleagues for a drink "at my place." Truly a versatile and beautiful space that feels like a home without distractions / a great boutique hotel / and a place to host friends all bundled into one architectural gem with beautiful details.

We absolutely loved our stay here! Beautiful neighborhood and surroundings. Quiet, private and easy access/walkable to places to eat and shop. The apartment had everything we needed! So well done, made great use of the space. Sleeping was quiet and comfortable. Can't say enough!! Would definitely stay here again. Easy access to DC! Host was very quick with response. Definitely recommend!!!

Very beautiful Airbnb !!! Private and very quiet neighborhood , everything we needed was in the unit down to the Keurig pods , extra perk for the rice cooker and Instapot. The bed was spacious and very comfortable It was like being in our own oasis Lots of memorable moments and will always cherish our time there Check out as a breeze and will definitely come back again if we need another get away

A great little place. Very peaceful, lots of birds; bring your Merlin app! Walking distance to the Wetlands park which is adjacent to the James River. Grocery store and several restaurants nearby. The hosts spoil the customers with lots of snack goodies plus waters in the fridge! If I came to Richmond again I would stay here.

This Airbnb was very welcoming and had beautiful surroundings. My dog loved running around! Everything was super clean and they had binders full of activities and recommendations for things to do in the area. I would stay here again 😊

My friend and I had a great stay at Frog Jump. It was very clean and comfortable. The host, Gail, even left some snacks and muffins complimentary. The boat by the lake was the best part of the stay for me. We’re very satisfied with the experience and would recommend it anyone staying in the area over a hotel/motel, the property is a great bang for your buck.

No words! We absolutely loved this place! Totally private. It is above their detached two car garage and so perfect. Absolutely immaculate. I appreciated that she was fine with us checking in at 10:30pm and we left each morning at 7am. Perfect location to hit Richmond, Yorktown, Jamestown and Williamsburg in the one day/two nights that we had. The steep stairs to climb up above the garage were well worth the privacy. I am very hopeful that we can come back and stay again someday for 4-5 nights to do this area with more time. She was so friendly to message with. We loved watching them waking up their farm while we sipped our provided keurig cups.
