The cottage was located in a quiet and peaceful spot. Many walk trails are right at the doorstep and there are plenty of maps provided for your use. It was beautiful to sit on the patio and take in the sights and sounds of nature whilst enjoying a drink or reading a book. Comfortable beds and an amazing shower. Easy to get to other locations like wineries and the Skywalk.

We had a fabulous stay it was just so relaxing , beautiful views and the highland cows were so lovely, we even got to brush them and interact . Peter and Maleeya were great hosts unfortunately the Thai cafe was closed but we will definitely be coming back to try this out and stay again this place is a hidden gem 💎

Beautiful quiet area with lovely old character filled cottage. Beautiful wood fire all set and ready to go and modern kitchen with everything you could need for your stay. Beautiful nature walk on the property and Kathleen and Kingsley very friendly, lovely to chat to about the amazing history of the property. Highly recommended for anyone in the area

Lovely place to stay to explore the Porongorups and surrounding areas. It is walking distance to the local tavern and tea rooms, and not too far to drive to Mount Barker for supplies. The home had everything we needed for our family to stay comfortably for 5 nights and we appreciated the inclusion of electric blankets and gas heating as the days were cold. Trish was a very responsive and informative host, thank you for letting us stay.

Chantel’s Airbnb was beautiful, a private room away from the rest of the house, in a great area close to the town centre, easy to access and a great seating / hangout area, we didn’t end up having time to use the pool/ spa as we only had a short stay but I would recommend.

Love the place. Has everything. Laundry detergent, clothes hanging rack indoor and outside on the verandah, outdoor sitting, bbq pit and fire pit. Love the fresh bread and eggs in first morning. Delicious. Peaceful surroundings. Surrounded by nature. Amazing view. Excellent place to relax, chill and be in peace.

Fantastic place. Have stayed twice now and would certainly stay again. Kids are pestering us to go back again now.

Had an amazing stay, very comfy beds and being able to watch the wildlife each evening was magic!

An amazing stay with so much beauty surrounding you! Our surprise was the animals around the accommodation which made it so much fun for us as a family! Standing up and see the mountains and the sheep, alpacas, chickens and turkeys! We can’t wait to come back!
