Sally & Gard were great Hosts. Their home was beautiful and homey, with many comfort details not typically found in other Airbnbs. The pond and wooded setting were specular with the fall foliage on full display during our stay! The Kitchen had everything we needed for our long-term stay and the beds and linens were very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would love to return. Thank you Sally & Gard for making our stay special with your lovely home.

The Lake House was a beautiful old house with a spectacular view. Check in instructions were clear and check in was easy. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, pans and utensils. Bedrooms were cozy but need more lighting. Bathrooms were clean. We had beautiful weather and were able to enjoy the outdoor space. Firewood was provided for the firepit, and beach towels that have seen many seasons, were provided for the hot tub. As mentioned in previous reviews, it is a well-loved family home, and you will find family pictures and art from the grandkids on the walls. If you are looking for a hotel like atmosphere this isn't the place for you. Our group of 6 thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt right at home.

Ben’s place was cozy and the location was spectacular. While the pictures and description are nice they don’t do it justice. It’s even better in person. This is on the list of places to return.

Jennifer is a lovely host with great communication. My wife and I had an amazing stay here and will most definitely be coming back. If you are looking to detach from your busy life and want to relax for bit, we highly recommend that you book this space. 10/10

Mark & Mary gave so many great recommendations, we needed another week to visit them all. Their home was stunning and peaceful. It was also so well furnished, there was nothing they didn’t think of to include for their guests. We had a great time, but most of our memories on this trip were gathering around the tables and patios laughing and chatting. Thank you for hosting such a great weekend.

Christine’s place was absolutely amazing, and she was a wonderful host. She kindly accommodated our request for a late check-out, which we really appreciated. The surrounding area was beautiful and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The highlight of our stay was the private tram that takes you down to a secluded beach on Lake Canandaigua — it felt like our very own mini amusement park, and the kids absolutely loved it! The only downside was the strong sulfur smell in the tap water. Although the cottage has a large water filtration system, it didn’t seem to be functioning effectively during our stay. Christine did her best to resolve the issue by resetting the system, but unfortunately, the smell persisted. Despite that, the charming cottage, unbeatable location, and warm hospitality more than made up for it. We had a great time and would definitely return!

We had a great stay and the hideaway exceeded our expectations. We will definitely plan to return on our next visit to New York.

Spent the weekend up at this cottage. It was so cozy and felt so comfortable. Great location, beautiful lake views from the porch and nearby beach. Enjoyed every minute of this place.

Excellent Airbnb right on the water - very close to Hammondsport and east Keuka wineries. Host was very attentive and responsive. Looking forward to staying there again!

This cabin is the perfect place to switch off from the world and relax. The lake is beautiful. The cabin is clean and well equipped. James and Renee are lovely people whose main aim is for people to enjoy the experience of staying at their properties. Jamie brought us fish from the river and kitted us out with bikes to save us hiring some. A lovely stay.

Don’t miss this cozy cottage. Everything is thought of. Kindling and wood for the fire, ice in the trays and frosty mugs in the freezer. What a beautiful, special property. Relax and enjoy. Would not hesitate to book again. Thank you both.

We stayed at Kate's for three nights while visiting family in the area. The place was perfect, really charming, clean, pleasant, quiet, and well-equipped. Kate was easy to communicate with, made our stay a pleasure and made us feel at home. Couldn't be better; we'll be back if she'll have us!

The property was beautiful, inside and out. The inside was absolutely charming and perfect for us, and two bathrooms for two bedrooms was amazing. Stepping outside and hearing the babble of water and chirping of birds made for such a relaxing weekend.

The cottage was nice and clean! Christopher was able to quickly resolve minor glitch with the lock very quickly. Will stay again next time we are in the area!

Kari’s lakeside cottage was perfect for our family getaway. The cute cottage is right on the lake and is charming. We were unable to utilize the outdoor decks and dock due to the rainy chilly weather but they were very nicely appointed. Kari gave us some hiking recommendations and we were in close proximity to wineries, shopping and restaurants. We had a lovely weekend.

We had a really nice time! Cottage is in a quiet area and very peaceful. We loved sitting by the fire pit and looking at the lake. The host also included refreshments for us in the refrigerator which was a nice surprise. The cottage was comfortable.

Our second time at this great location! The house and property are in the perfect spot, peaceful with a great waterfront setting. So nice to relax in the hammock and take in the view, or walk to the beach nearby. Everything we needed, and more, was provided. It is so great to have access to the kayaks, too! House was as advertised. Had use of the owners Kayak for a small fee (which the owner kindly waived). Views from the house are outstanding. Very good fishing in the lake - caught dozens of fish off the dock. Reasonably close to Niagara Falls, East Aurora, Keuka Lake for day trips. Very close to a Letchworth and a local Cidery in Castile - which were both fantastic. Very reasonably priced for a lakefront property in the Finger Lake Region. Our family had a wonderful stay - would definitely recommend.

Jason cottage on the lake was a wonderful weekend getaway for us. The views of the lake from the sunrise to sunset were amazing. The dock was nice for us to get in the lake with our kayaks and to just sit on the dock. The cottage was roomy and didn't feel cluttered. We had a great time

We really got a lot out of being right on the lake - the access was unbeatable. Rented kayaks from Canadaigua Sailboards for a week, though the cabin also has a canoe, and ate many meals and made smores and watched the sun set and ducks swim by. Swam ourselves on the hot days. Great day trips: waterfall hikes near Canadaigua (Grimes Glen then Naples for lunch), Ithaca (downtown shops and gorges hike), Watkins Glen, Corning Glass Museum including glass-making activities. Cute local towns (Geneva, Candaigua, Hammondport) have along-the-lake walks and ice cream options. Enjoyed 'Moonlight Stroll' and live music at Sonnenberg Gardens, plus Good Life Tea shop in downtown Canadaigua. Found a ton of waterfall hikes on AllTrails. Had fun at the Pageant of Steam. Noted concerts at the CMAC nearby but we didn't catch any. The private road that the cabin is on is nice for a walk too, and neighbors were friendly. All the basics are covered and we made breakfast/dinner often. No microwave but everything you need to make meals. Local Wegman's has everything you could want.

House was as described. Views were great. Karen was helpful communication was quick and helpful. Quiet location and was within an hour from Watkins Glen. Would come back again.
