Chalet D

Chalet D is set in the idyllic Highland setting of Heatherwood Park behind our sister property Chalet C and a three minute drive or a 25 minute coastal walk from Dornoch town centre. This will be Chalet D’s first season on the short term rental market as we’ve just freshly redecorated the property with a modern cosy feel. Perfect for any party of four, Chalet D has its own highchair, cot and dog bed so we’re prepared for any precious member of your party whether their toes be small or furry.

The Hide - off-grid-ish woodland cabin near NC500

The Hide is a super get-away for anyone travelling around Scotland on the NC500 or on your own adventure looking for a unique stay. Almost off-grid, it has a comfy bed, central woodburner and spectacular view. It's the perfect stepping stone towards the full off-grid experience, intended for people who are curious about living the off-grid lifestyle but also like to be able to charge their phone, boil a kettle and have a hot shower! The perfect stop for those interested in walking, cycling or wildlife. This quiet and tranquil cottage is surrounded by magnificent scenery and wide-open spaces. In Sutherland you can enjoy fantastic beaches, distilleries, castles, golf courses, and much more.

Cute tiny shepherd's hut near to the village

Our quirky, cute shepherd's hut sits in a semi-wild orchard next to our house, and near to an historic mill. It is ideal for one or two people and comes equipped with a comfortable double bed, a folding table, a small kitchen area with a microwave, kettle and toaster and a tiny private bathroom, with a hot shower. Outside, the decking provides a space to relax. The BBQ provides an option for dinner. Drinking water is from a tap on the side of the hut.

Grieves Cottage, near Dornoch

Grieves Cottage is a traditional stone cottage situated off a quiet track. Grieves Cottage offers a secluded and peaceful setting with views looking out onto a tidal sea loch Fleet nature reserve, with a great opportunity to view seals and other sea wildlife. A place to get away, relax and enjoy the natural surroundings! Nochty Studio is a eco cabin located on the edge of the small village of Bellabeg in the Cairngorm National Park, in close proximity to Ballater, Braemar, Royal Deeside and on the edge of Moray. The Studio is on the east side of Glen Nochty enjoying open views of the Nochty River and the Doune of Invernochty. The village itself is a 5 minute walk away, with a local shop.
