We know the area and were returning for a family weekend - everything perfect. Apartment kitted out with everything (and more) that we needed. Perfect location for our family weekend but would be perfect base to stay to explore the area locally or to Liverpool, Chester and North Wales

We spent two nights at this sweet apartment. Well laid out and squeaky clean. Steps from the boardwalk but quiet and peaceful. Kim was a lovely host and we really appreciated the welcome pack she left for us (tea, milk and Welsh cakes). It was quite warm when we visited but the apartment itself was nice and cool - a little oasis after a busy day of sightseeing. Thank you Kim for a great stay!

We stayed at Ann’s for a weekend hiking in Snowdonia. The place is well equipped and really spacious, perfect for a few nights stay. The beach is very nice and only about 100 yards from the door, so plenty of opportunity to enjoy the sea view. An ideal location with plenty of nice hikes within 30-45 mins drive. Ann is super responsive and friendly and was really flexible with our checkout time. I’d highly recommend this place.

We had a fantastic weekend at Haydn's flat. The place was very warm and clean with everything you need, home from home. Great shower! We enjoyed being at the quieter end of Llandudno, about a 25 minute flat walk from the pier which gave us time to walk off our meals! Plenty of eateries in the area, can recommend Carlos, Blue Elephant and The Goat. I couldn't quite find the flat at first as my satnav took me to the corner opposite, but Haydn was very quick to help me out. Place was nice and quiet with a corner shop and a Co-op nearby. Thank you for hosting us!

The easiest 5 star review! The view is exceptional and worth every penny. Everything was amazing, very well equipped and thought out, immaculately clean and a real home away from home! We have fell in love with this area and can’t wait to return soon!

We have had a great stay, everything was exactly as listed. It's a beautiful apartment in a great location. There is always something to do based at Benllech. We had fabulous beach walks from St David's across to Red Wharf on sunny days. We left the car and walked for miles and miles and miles! We had a rainy day too.... hey, this is why Wales is so green! We drove up to Mynydd Parys and WOW. We have been visiting Ynys Mon/Anglesey for 35 years and this was our first visit. We still have so many places on my to visit list and will certainly book with Alice and Richard again. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Driftwood, we had an amazing time.

The apartment is incredible, so much space, clean and all the amenities you could ever need. Great hosts and the location is awesome! Super comfortable beds and some great restaurants all within walking distance. Had a fantastic stay and will definitely be booking again soon. I recommend staying here 100%

Excellent communication with the host. What stood out was how spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished was the house. A nice home away from home (with many cute / pretty decorations in the house). Looks even better/newer than in the photos. Kitchen is well equipped as we prefer to cook our own meals in general. Nice big dining table and comfy/supportive chairs. Good for my elderly parents. Appreciate all the thoughtful extras including milk, coffee, tea, biscuits (even though we don't normally eat cookies, so we didn't have any). Above all, Carol was so kind to welcome us with a Happy birthday banner decoration on the corridor wall as we enter the house -- as we were celebrating my Dad's 70th birthday (plus my daughter's and my own birthday all within a few days apart). And the nice personal touch with her thoughtful message on the birthday card and chocolate bar made us feel welcome and special. Thanks again. Oh, and parking space is superb. We highly recommend to you all.

Fantastic house in a great location. Plenty of space for the family and the grandparents. Hot tub was incredible. Amazing hosts very helpful. The house is well equipped with everything you could need and more. Thanks for having us!

We had a wonderful stay in the House on the Beach. It is fabulous - tastefully designed, furnished and decorated and with large windows giving views over the beautiful seascape and landscape. It is right on the beach and it even has its own jetty! It is in a very private and peaceful location, yet close by car to nearby villages, shops, restaurants and cafes. There are also walks along the coastline and into the countryside right from the house. It is very spacious for families, even extended families, or groups of friends. We went in November, when it was cold, but the heating warmed up the house very quickly. I imagine it is great in summer too. We would go back to the House on the Beach in a heartbeat!

We were two families (three adults and three children 6-8 years old) meeting for an Easter holiday. The house was a minutes walk from the beach which meant we could go out in all weathers without fear and took advantage of each sunny moment. There were loads of games inside which the kids loved and the kitchen had everything we needed. The cottage has no central heating but electric rads and a wood burner keep it warm. Make sure to bring wood, kindling and fire lighters! The neighbouring airbase was at times noisy but we enjoyed watching the jets fly over. I would stay there again.

We all (six family members & a 🐶) had a superb time at the house in red wharf bay. Having been red wharf numerous times before this was the 1st time at the beach house everything about the house was perfect including the weather for our stay. Lydia&Hannah are easily contactable and helped us with any questions we had. We love a great location and this was 1st class so much so we all want a return trip next year 😎👍

The house was perfect for our needs. It is clean and nicely decorated. The beds were comfy and having 2 bathrooms is an asset with 2 young grandchildren! The garden is secure and has a great view. A great bonus was being able to park 2 cars in such a central location. Barmouth is right on the doorstep and is surrounded by many beautiful spots. The hosts were lovely and helped make our stay fantastic. Thank you.

What a lovely place in a stunning location . Pretty central for amenities and food places . The views or amazing. The house has everything you need for a relaxing break away .

Fantastic Airbnb! Location is perfect, really close to town and beach, both 5mins walk. House was lovely, clean, really bright and stylish. Loved all the windows in upstairs living space. Also the wood burning stove was fun and made it very warm and cosy. Good showers and comfy beds. Would definitely stay again. Thanks Jackie.

spent the week here, we had flat 1 which had an amazing view of the beach and mountains! the flat was gorgeous and spotless! there was a list of places to eat that were close and also a supermarket within walking distance no more then 2 minute walk which was so convenient! we felt right at home here and would definitely return and would highly recommend! there was games for us to play such as uno!! and netflix on the tv for the days that were a little too wet to explore outside which really helped and was great! definitely worth the price we paid, it was so lovely we didn’t want to leave. Beth send us very clear instructions on how to find the building, parking etc… and how to check in which was so simple! HIGHLY recommend!!

Geoffrey was a great host and very helpful and flexible. The apartment is spotlessly clean, in a great location and central to everything. Would recommend to anyone who is visiting Barmouth. We had a great time.

Hoylake is so beautiful. Clare's house is spacious and comfortable and the apartment is very comfortable and well-appointed. The nearby beaches and walks are stunning. We had a wonderful stay.

Great stay with friends at this lovely apartment. Location was perfect for our needs and for exploring North West Wales. Apartment was very comfortable with everything needed for our 3 night stay. Highly recommended if you are looking for a good base in the area.

Lovely little place over looking the Menai. Very peaceful location. Everything you could need in the flat. Great little enclosed courtyard at the back, perfect for the dog with no concern that he could get out.

Lovely flat in great location - 5 mins from shops, station and the sea. Had all necessary requirements for 2 of us to stay in comfort. Plenty of hot water constantly. Kitchen equipped beyond normal expectations and with lovely fixtures and fittings. Lynn was very helpful letting us check in early and leave late and left us a lovely vase of flowers and a bottle of Prosecco to welcome us. All in all a great stay. Thanks you Lynn

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your lovely apartment over Easter. We had a wonderful time exploring North Wales. The apartment was well equipped, clean and very homely. Would definitely recommend !

We enjoyed a two night stay in April. The apartment is light and bright, and within easy walking distance of Crosby beach, many bars and restaurants, the Co-op (a few minutes away) and the local train station (which is just around the corner although the trains can’t be heard). At risk of finding the apartment booked up for our return, I’d recommend it in a heartbeat, it’s a gem. Thank you Mark.
