We absolutely loved our stay at Victor’s cabin and feel so lucky to have met him on this trip. The surroundings are incredibly beautiful, and there’s a ton of things to do on his property alone. It’s definitely worth staying for at least a week. It’s the perfect spot for anyone who wants to disconnect and immerse themselves in nature.

Amazing!! Great location in a beautiful place. Stunning stay. It was so amazing to hear the sounds of the jungle while being in the villa. Nice bathroom and comfortable bed. Few ants located inside. Would 1000% recommend staying here!

We had an unforgettable stay at CocoVivo. It’s wild and beautiful - not polished, just pure nature. Our hut over the water was simple, clean, and eco-friendly, with a ‘ pipi only’ loo and solar power - compost loo elsewhere, for obvious reasons! I love that it started as part of a reforestation project, the connection to the land really comes through. They helped coordinate a 30-min boat taxi from Bocas Town, which made things easy. Wi-Fi was surprisingly good! Bring strong repellent - the sandflies are persistent. We walked the ‘sloth loop’ often - saw sloths (including babies!) and poison dart frogs. The extended walk, you should be prepared for more rugged terrain. Snorkelling was beautiful, and night snorkelling with bioluminescence felt like swimming through stars. The food was incredible - we requested vegetarian - it was fresh, full of flavour, and some of the best we’ve had! We loved the nature, and the way of life. What an absolutely beautiful place to stay! This house is tucked in the jungle with loads of wildlife all around. There are other houses on the property, but they have preserved the gardens and jungle in such a fabulous way that you can’t even see any of the other houses. Felt super private. The plunge pool was absolutely delightful after we returned to the house. There are so many things close by, we especially love La Leyenda pizza restaurant. Which is just a short ride down the street in Playa Chiquita. Tine got back to me very quickly after each text I sent her. We will definitely stay here again!

Our adult family of four stayed in both the mango house and the jungle house. Both of these places are fabulous- beautiful jungle surroundings, areas to hang out and observe the beauty, all kinds of fruit to try, an on-site restaurant (try the jackfruit stew!), comfortable beds. The fact that this area has been mindfully reforested was what attracted us to this stay but the experience overall was amazing. We highly recommend!

We loved it here! Everything was super clean and the beds were comfortable. The pool is gorgeous. The host is lovely and super communicative, made it feel like we were visiting a friend. And the location is absolutely unbeatable! Falling asleep up in the trees, away from the crowds and volume of the town, but only a 4 minute walk from everything you could need. We can't wait to come back!

Wir waren für zwei nächste im April bei Jan. Es war der reinste Wahnsinn- mitten im Dschungel, ohne Fenster und nur mit einem Moskitonetz schlafen ist was anderes. Man darf keine Angst vor den Tieren haben und man muss versuchen sich darauf einzulassen ☺️. Auch die kleine Angst nach der ersten Nacht ( da die Affen schon ziemlich nah waren) hat Jan uns genommen und vieles über die Natur und Tiere erzählt. Man kann sogar Dschungel Touren direkt mit ihm unternehmen. Für den Weg zur Unterkunft sollte man jedoch festes Schuhwerk bzw. bei Regen mit Profil dabei haben oder man zieht die vor Ort Gummi Stiefel an wie ich :) Vielen Dank an Jan und seine Familie- es war ein Abenteuer welches wir nie wieder vergessen werden!

A experiência na cabana foi maravilhosa! O local é limpo, organizado e super bem equipado — tem tudo o que você precisa para passar dias confortáveis: geladeira, fogão, micro-ondas, talheres, pratos, copos e muito mais. A vista é de tirar o fôlego, com os montes e o mar ao fundo. Assistir ao nascer do sol dali foi simplesmente inesquecível. A banheira de hidromassagem é perfeita para relaxar, e ainda tem uma TV com Netflix e outros apps para curtir à vontade. Recomendamos levar tudo o que for necessário comprado do mercado, pois tentamos pedir pelo iFood e a entrega não chegou — algo que não tira em nada o brilho do lugar, só um ponto para se planejar melhor. O anfitrião foi muito atencioso e prestativo em todo o contato. Pretendemos voltar com certeza e recomendamos a experiência!

L’emplacement est bien situé pour aller visiter la forêt nuageuse, les tours nocturnes et autres activités de Monteverde. Nous avons trouvé facilement l’emplacement en mettant sur Waze Hotel Cala lodge et ensuite en suivant les instructions fournies ( avec photos). À partir de l’hébergement, nous pouvions voir une famille de Coati qui se promène dans les arbres aux alentours et sur le toit. Nous avons vu un Motmot sur une branche près du balcon arrière. Les lits sont très confortable, la literie également, il y a de l’eau chaude et nous n’avons rien manqué en équipement.

Lugar incrível. Tudo exatamente como descrito no anúncio. Ao contrário dos outros que já ficamos, ela te recebe pessoalmente e te apresenta todo espaço, explicando como tudo funciona. Certamente voltaremos.

We’re really glad we chose Silvia’s cozy hideaway tree house. It felt like we were in the middle of the rainforest, yet we were just a short distance from town — the best of both worlds. Waking up to the sounds of birds in the morning was such a treat. The place felt private and peaceful, and although the kitchen is small, it had everything we needed. One small suggestion: a drying rack for clothes would be a great addition, especially for guests coming back from a hot spring or canyoning adventure. All in all, a lovely stay!

El lugar estaba increíble, la cabaña daba una sensación acogedora, tuve que quedarme más tiempo. Volvería sin dudarlo, además Diego el coanfitrion muy atento.

O lugar é aconchegante, simples porém satisfatório, o valor da diária é um pouco salgado pela localização e por ser em Belo Horizonte praticamente, ficamos durante a semana para sair com preço ainda mais barato que foi em torno de R$600 a diária, sem café da manhã, se tivesse ao menos café da manhã o preço seria justo, mesmo assim foi agradável!

Absolutely beautiful place! Really clean, well designed, thoughtfully furnished, and unique. Felt like luxury for being a dome in the jungle. I will say even with the host’s instructions the hot water in the shower was maddening the first time around. Trick is to not pull the handle out far enough to where the whirling sound stops. Even then the temperature would vary a bit, but at least it was pleasant, especially with the birds and jungle right outside your window! Gated parking worked perfectly and made us feel very safe. The pathway lighting was thoughtfully done as well. Two things of mention: the view isn’t quite as impressive as the photos imply due to tree growth and camera angles, and unfortunately there’s construction going on next door from 6am-5pm. It usually didn’t bother us, but occasionally there’s loud power saws. That being said the bed was extremely comfy and the blankets were perfect for Monte Verde weather, so relaxing wasn’t too hard!

Where to start?! Yes the place is amazing of course but you can’t beat a host that is ACTUALLY a h o s t. I’ve stayed at many airbnbs and none of the hosts were as hospitable as David was! We didn’t realize how secluded the house actually was and wasn’t able to obtain our rental car reservation… we were stuck to relying on “taxis” to get to and from things… after trying for literal hours to no avail… David called on one of his buddies to help us. If it wasn’t for David and his friends help we would’ve been stuck up there with no way to enjoy this country! David’s beautiful home and the sounds of the howler monkeys made my birthday spectacular. Just the peace I’ve been needing. I forgot I had mentioned to David that this was a birthday trip and he made sure to get me a birthday cake when I arrived again… unbelievably hospitable! Couldn’t thank him enough! Thanks again David we will be back and can’t wait to be in contact again!

This place was an absolute gem! The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always available for any questions. Their hospitality made the stay even more special. The accommodation was perfect—peaceful, surrounded by nature, A true hidden paradise! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and unforgettable stay.

Eu e minha família tivemos uma estada muito boa, local muito tranquilo e uma excelente experiência. A casa de fato é ótima e proporciona um momento único. O Michel foi atencioso em toda a hospedagem e muito gentil para nos poporcionar tudo que estivesse ao seu alcance, sempre com muita simpatia. Recomendo a experiência!

I had the most incredible stay. If you are even considering booking, do it! Even though I was only there for two days, it felt like I was in a completely different world—an absolute retreat from everyday life. The entire experience was so relaxing and peaceful. The on-site restaurant was great; every meal was delicious, and it was so convenient to have the delivery service as well. One of my favorite spots was the outdoor net hammock—it was so serene to sit there, unwind, and take in the beautiful surroundings. The jacuzzi was another highlight; we basically lived in it the entire time. The fireplace added such a cozy touch, making the nights feel extra special. The bed was super comfy, and I appreciated the perfect amount of outlets and the reading lights by the bed. The breakfast provided each morning was a nice touch, and it really made the stay feel even more thoughtful. I can’t wait to come back to this magical spot ❤️

This place was absolutely stunning! The views from the Airbnb are breathtaking. It’s a bit of a walk to get here, but it was well worth it. The farm that the property is located on is also very beautiful and there are a bunch of friendly dogs on the property as well. We loved the place and would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to soak in the beauty of the Colombia coffee triangle area!

We really had a great time at this Air bnb. The location is a little out of the way but easily accessible with a suitable vehicle, and we really liked the quiet location. The large terrace was my personal highlight. From there we were able to observe monkeys and other animals. Andres is a kind person who was always happy to help us with any questions or concerns. Thank youu so much for everything!
