Mountain Villa - Stone Cottage

A restored stone cottage at 3,300 ft in Vagamon, Kerala. An off-grid retreat within five acres of private forest, powered by sun and wind, with farm-to-table meals by Chef Anoop. Once an estate labour shed, it retains its original stone walls, warm interiors and valley verandah, now with a beautiful private soaking bath. No television. STAY at Ahangama

STAY at Ahangama is a 1950s built villa renovated to its current standard in 2016. The villa is very spacious and lets in plenty of light, especially in the main livingroom area. The villa features a middle courtyard with a fish pond and a pool with a deck to cool off the usually hot temperature in Galle. You can reach Ahangama beach within five minutes (walking), and Mirissa beach or Unawatuna beach in 20 minutes by vehicle. The Galle Fort is within a 25 minute drive from our property.
