Ferienunterkünfte mit Pool in South Yorkshire

The hut was very clean and spacious. All amenities were provided. The location was a perfect starting point for many scenic walks in the area. The host was very responsive and helpful.

Birch Cottage was beautifully presented and perfect for a family get together. There was plenty of space, definitely did not feel cramped or on top of each other. The bathrooms were clean and modern, presented with complimentary toiletries. The bedrooms were a good size with adequate storage. The beds were comfortable and the bed linen was pristine. The location of the cottage is stunning, halfway up a hillside with plenty of challenging walks literally on the doorstep. The pool area exceeded expectations. It was modern, clean and warm. Sophie pre-arranged with me the times that the occupants on our cottage would use it and that worked out fine. I would have no hesitation in recommending Birch Cottage and hope to visit again some day.

Me and my group of friends, 16 in total, had the best stay at Sophie’s cottages for one of the couples STEN weekend away. There were comfy beds for everyone to stop in and loads of living space for the size of the group. There’s been some dining rooms added on to the back of the cottages recently that weren’t on the photos when we booked and these meant there was loads of space for everyone to sit. The house/bedding was also super clean. We really enjoyed the swimming pool (actually more than a hot tub that we usually get at air b&bs). The location was also fab as you can go out walking straight from the cottages which we did on the Sunday and stopped off for a pub lunch on route. Cannot fault these cottages and we will be returning in 2026!

An excellent and very pleasant place to stay, at a good price. The accommodation was thoughtfully presented, and pristine – the high standard of cleanliness was much appreciated by us. The buildings, the farm, the village and the surroundings are all wonderful and we felt most fortunate to be there. Our hosts were very pleasant too. We had the best time at Teal cottage with 6 friends. The walk into holmfirth is only ten minutes, and there’s loads of coffee shops, a few nice restaurants and pubs, as well as charity shops, walks and runs nearby. We spent a day at the yorkshire sculpture park which was fun too. But mostly we just enjoyed spending time in the house! Cooking facilities, hot tub, TV and games were perfect and we had a fab, very relaxing post exams celebration. If anything it was better than the photos! Like people say in other reviews, the deposit was initially off putting but when Angela explained I felt comfortable with it. The drive is steep but work on your clutch control and you’ll be fine!! Overall absolutely spot on for 6 people for a few days away, with room for extras if we come back in future! Thank you

Lovely stay, cottage is hard to find at first as the address listed doesn’t take you directly to it. There is no parking for the property however parking is available on the road adjacent or in the village which is just a 2 minute walk. Some gifts were left which were a lovely touch and the beds were very comfy. The cottage felt very homely and was full of all the basics you need for cooking and cleaning etc. Overall very nice stay compared to some of my previous trips and I have recommended the cottage to family and friends.

The college condition and feel is a real credit to the hard work Angela and staff put in. It feels like you’re at home from the moment you walk through the door and the views a just breathtaking. The bath towels feel amazing and the cottage is very well stocked with everything you need in the way of equipment and also of a very good quality. We were lucky enough to have some very fine weather and completed some great local walks and running routes. There wasn’t one thing that I could fault with this whole experience and can’t wait to book again.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay, our first time "glamping" we were a little dubious at first, but I'd do it all again 100%, really enjoyed our stay, Steven was incredibly helpful with any queries we had(not many albeit due to the thorough details we were sent). Really really clean place, honestly cannot fault anything about our weekend thoroughly enjoyed every moment, we will definitely look to book again. thanks again!
