Great stay! Beautiful view and loved the hot tub. A few minutes drive into Queenstown.

We loved staying here on our trip to Queenstown. It was so nice to have a parking spot, as parking in Queenstown can be tricky (especially when you're used to driving on the other side of the road). The place was nice and a good spot to rest after exploring. It was an easy 10-15 minute walk into town. Parking could be potentially a little tough if you have a large vehicle (especially if all the spots are filled), but we didn't have any issues navigating the parking lot (mind you this may not be an issue for most...we just happen to be used to driving on the other side of the road and didn't love driving/parking in general). I would stay here again.

The things we needed to feel at home were provided, very quite location and still close to Queenstown centre. Spectacular views over the river and surrounding mountains. Clean and modern would definitely stay again and thanks for the wine much appreciated. Would definitely like to stay again. Loved Queenstown and this accommodation, wish we had stayed longer.

Absolutely stunning location and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the lakeside AirBnB accommodation. Ash & Savannah were proactive and responsive and made us feel welcome….highly recommend this place if you want to enjoy the wonderful view!

Susie and her family were fantastic hosts. From the moment we were welcomed by Susie and her offsider Rosie, it was clear we picked the perfect place to base ourselves. The space was open and private and provided our family of four with all that was needed. Communicating with Susie was a breeze and if we needed anything a swift reply was always there. Amazing place to stay in Lake Hawea. The house is modern, warm and cosy. Perfect for family getaways. Maree was very responsive and friendly. Would definitely recommend!

The house was comfortable, cozy, well-equipped, spacious, and sparkling clean, it made us feel right at home. The beds were incredibly comfortable too! The location is wonderfully peaceful, nestled so close to the Remarkables mountain range. We enjoyed the incredible mountain views every day, rain or shine. Although it was only early April, we were lucky enough to see snow-capped peaks for several days during our stay. The view was breathtaking—almost surreal—with the mountains so close, it felt like we could reach out and touch them! We also highly recommend the 30-minute scenic drive up to the Remarkables Ski Area. It’s a great base for exploring Queenstown and the surrounding areas, while avoiding the hustle and bustle of town. Our 11-year-old son loved the two fantastic playgrounds nearby, and there’s a beautiful walking/cycling trail too—perfect for the whole family. I had the pleasure of booking the Kawau's Airbnb, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! From the moment our staff arrived, they were welcomed with warmth and kindness. The space was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything they needed for a comfortable stay. Anneke was an incredibly thoughtful and attentive host, always available to answer any questions, and made sure they had everything they needed to feel at home. The location was perfect—quiet, yet close to local attractions, making it easy to explore the area. I highly recommend Anneke and Jason's Airbnb to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable, and enjoyable stay.

Lovely property in a great location with an incredible view. Accommodation had everything we needed for our stay. Fire kept us warm and we loved spending time in the hot tub taking in the view of the lake and mountains after a day sight seeing.

Unique, beautifully presented character home with generously spacious rooms, nicely furnished, giving a cosy feel enhanced by the super efficient, thermostatically controlled very modern whole-of-house air conditioning. Ample power points throughout and several lighting options in each space. Roomy seperate kitchen with modern equipment - full stove and oven, even a dish washer. Main bathroom has single spa bath with shower over bath, toilet and wash hand basin. This home has a second stand alone toilet and a big corner shower in a room that also serves as fully equipped laundry including drier. Situated close to corner shop and only minutes away from supermarket and shopping centre on a lovely tree lined quality street that was incredibly peaceful. Private parking and plenty of street parking also. Top value and ideal for two couples. So spacious, really delightful. Not only faultless but huge WOW factor as you explore room after room. I dare anyone not to be super impressed.

After roadtripping across the north and south islands, we spent 2 days at Bonnie's place and decided to spend a bit more to get a truly great place. This place exceeded our expectations and the photos don't prepare you for the view and set up. I think this place is excellent value for money and worth every penny. Bonnie is a great and proactive host. Highly recommended, we loved our stay!

Great little place to stay. Is part of a backpackers but is Nicky fitted out and couldn’t hear anyone from other rooms. Great restaurants located in the town centre and a nice drive from Milford Sound. Would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay! The property was spotless and very well maintained. The breathtaking views made it even more special, and the location was perfect , easy access to restaurants and grocery stores. Tim was an excellent host, communicating promptly and making everything smooth and easy. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!!

Loved Kristy’s place, you could walk into Queenstown centre easily. The hill on the way back was a little steep, but if you didn’t want to walk a taxis is only $10. The bus is really cheap $2 if you have a bee card, or you can just pay as you go. I would totally recommend Kristy’s place.

A wonderful location with stunning lake and mountain views. Pleasant and easy walks to local coffee shops and eateries. Great lakeside walk into Queenstown. Excellent accommodation bed extremely comfortable. Great communication with host who was helpful and timely in responding. Would highly recommend and would return in a heartbeat.
