The local town of Chapel -en-le-Frith and the surrounding villages of Hayfield and Chinley plus supermarkets are a short drive.

From here you can enjoy the countryside by walking or biking, short or longer routes. A folder in the cottage has a selection of maps, which you are welcome to use and choose a route straight from the door. The Hut on the Hill A rural retreat in the heart of the High Peak. Sharing the Alpaca field, 'The Hut On The Hill' is enviously positioned looking out over one of the best views in the High Peak.
