Absolutely perfect that’s not too far from home for a weekend getaway for the family! All of our kids had so much fun from swimming on the dock, kayaking, catching lizards outside and releasing them, and just enjoying nature and relaxing. Very well stocked without everything you could possibly think of, and some! Beds were incredibly comfortable and everyone slept great. This is truly a hidden treasure and we will definitely stay again! PERFECT!!!

Such a beautiful jem on the lake. Home was fully furnished and words don't describe the view! Access to Hot Tub was wonderful. Host was just a phone call alway. We would definitely rent again and recommend to friends/family. Over all i give this rental a 10 +. The Holderfields

Beautiful location with a nice view of the lake. It appears the entire interior of the house has been freshly repainted; very clean. We had a small Thanksgiving gathering there, the living room/dining area is spacious. Three bathrooms - absolutely terrific. We found everything we needed as far as cookware, etc. A couple people braved the cold wind and went kayaking on the lake. Very enjoyable stay!

It's easy to tell that these folks work in the education field based on how thorough and organized the guest info binder was! It was a great touch on top of an already great place!

My husband and I came for a getaway. The house/cabin was perfect!! Everything was exactly as described, but better! The cabin has everything you would need such as coffee pods (multiple flavors), creamer for coffee, popcorn, gas grill, ice cube trays in freezer, pots, pans, and pizza pan with cutter, comfy bed, radio, etc... My husband enjoyed fishing off the bank and caught a smallmouth bass. Lake Charles is a beautiful place to be right on the bank of! We will definitely be back! Drew was a fantastic host who perfectly described the house and location so we would know what to expect. We were doing a trial with our 2 pups (that we've not traveled with before) and this was the perfect place to take them. Not many homes have fenced in yards and we had to have that. Drew's place did and the fence was perfect. High enough and no holes or issues in the fence so our doggies were safe when they were out. We only tried the Artisan Grill for food, going back a couple of times as it was so good. Walked the neighborhood with our 2 pups and it was very peaceful and serene. Even though we did not go into the water or use the kayaks, having the water just across the street made it seem even more peaceful. We highly recommend Drew's place. Very convenient. Very nice touches by the owner (chocolates on your pillow) and very responsive to questions. Will plan to return!

Great getaway from the city to this private cabin on the lake. Lots of shopping and antique stores around along with several small towns to visit. Would definitely recommend to friends and family!

My husband and my grandson and I loved our stay! It is such a cute little cabin I enjoyed the way it was painted and decorated we can’t thank you enough Kaylin for responding to our questions and checking on us during our stay! My grandson loved getting to use the rowboat and fishing off the boat dock it was so fun! I will make plans to stay again soon ❤️
