We stayed for 2 weeks at Gayans place, it looks exactly like the pictures with lots of space. The bed is really comfy and the shower has hot water although the pressure is low. Me and my boyfriend both work online, so the desks were great however 10GB of fibre internet was not enough for both of us to work for a full day You do need a bike for the location as there aren’t many restaurants in walking distance. We rented a different one because the bike provided had no mirrors I know this is a family home, however the owners were occasionally cleaning in the garden which made it feel a bit less private at times Overall, I would recommend Gayan’s place, it was great value for money and we had a lovely time in Weligama, thank you ☺️

We had a great stay at Bandula’s villa! Bandula was so helpful and friendly. The place was clean and perfectly located. We would 100% stay here again if we came back to Sri Lanka

Jis nuomoja dviračius dvigubai pigiau nei kiti. Padėjo rasti ir motorolerių nuomą, kai mums to reikėjo. Bandula labai gerai kalba angliškai. Rekomenduoju į jį kreiptis Polonaruvoje. Telefono nr prašykite būsto šeimininko, čia neleidžia juo pasidalinti.

Am booked in for one week, only a five min walk to the beach. It’s ideally located and has a great open space garden area. You don’t hear any traffic only the sounds of mother nature. The room is spacious and the en suite bathroom has a nice shower. A kettle and basic crockery are provided. There’s ample storage space, plug sockets and space to hang your clothes. It’s very affordable and immaculately clean. The mattress is very comfortable and the ceiling fan keeps you cool throughout the night. There’s a washing machine on the property and the host is very accommodating and kind. The dogs greet you upon returning home. Chathura the host has expert knowledge of the surrounding area and is only too happy to assist you. He’s the consummate host, a well deserved five stars.

Beautiful villa with abundant space, verandah-style living, a great pool, and spotlessly clean. A short tuk-tuk ride away from Galle Fort and 10 minutes to the beaches of Unawatuna. The villa itself whilst in quite a busy part, enables a highly peaceful and relaxing holiday. We spent just over a week there and the caretaker (Fayas) went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and the chef (Rizwan) cooked us numerous and varied breakfasts, allowing us to sample delicious traditional food we’d not had before. Check in and out during very early morning due to flight times were also accommodated. Overall we had a great holiday at the villa and would highly recommend.

Der Aufenthalt hat uns super gut gefallen. Das Apartment war groß, sehr schön eingerichtet und hatte sogar eine Küche mit gemütlicher Sitzbank. Hiriketiya Strand ist innerhalb weniger Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Auf dem Weg dahin gibt es bereits zahlreiche Cafés und Restaurants. Trotz der zentralen Lage war die Unterkunft sehr ruhig und privat. Das persönliche Highlight war der großartige Gastgeber Nishan, der jederzeit erreichbar war, viele Tipps für Aktivitäten in der Umgebung geteilt hat und den Aufenthalt durch seine freundliche und offene Art zu etwas ganz besonderem gemacht hat.

The place is very clean, tidy and spacious. It’s close to the city and religious sites which was very convenient. Simon, the caretaker is very friendly and always around if you need anything. Would definitely recommend

Definitely a recommended place to stay. The apartment (more private than the other apartment) has all necessary amenities, plus a few fine touches, like beautiful art on the walls, incense sticks and cones, and mosquito coils. Unfortunately, in this part of Colombo, there are mosquitos. The building is old in a good way, for instance the window fittings are beautiful and very practical compared with their modern equivalents. The shower is probably the best shower I have encountered in this part of the world. Very easy to operate (definitely not always the case), and hot water arrives immediately. I met Channa, the owner, on arrival, and he is an immediately likeable person, who will leave you in peace, but if you need advice or information he will assist without hesitation. Nothing is ever perfect, but if you want to stay in a place that is quite a bit different from the mainstream (with a sweet cat and dog thrown in for good measure!), this is the place.

We loved Tai’s place. The house is beautiful, and both Tai and all of the staff were extremely accommodating. We had beautiful meals and loved the pool and garden in particular.

We traveled as a group of 6 to Villa Acres Green for a one-night getaway. The place was truly beyond our expectations and the pictures don’t do justice to the place! The property is spacious and gives you a sense of seclusion from the rest of the world. The vast garden is scattered with lots of trees, a pond and a well maintained lawn with benches and hammocks for a nice evening chill. The pool is much bigger than you’d expect and was clean. The tiles in the pool are starting to break so a little caution would be advised. We opted to get our food prepared at the property. The BBQ dinner was excellent, but the Sri Lankan breakfast (kiri bath) was only average. It’s possible that the food maybe a hit of miss in our experience. The rooms were nice; spacious and clean! The A/C cooled well which was more than appreciated since the days were scorching! All in all, we had a fantastic experience at the property and would highly recommend it to anyone travelling to Hikkaduwa.

A very peaceful getaway, lots of space to relax and use of both pools without other guests. Sharmila was very responsive and helpful during the booking process, and Sunil was on site when we arrived to guide us to the villa and help us settle in. Highly recommend this place, it’s good value for money for the amenities offered and we left feeling relaxed and refreshed. We liked being able to be fully self catering and as there were no other guests it was extremely private. Thanks and we are looking forward to coming back!

Vi boede her kun en enkelt nat inden vi skulle i lufthavnen. Det var en fantastisk oplevelse. Et utroligt hyggeligt sted og alt var så lækkert. Personalet var ekstraordinært imødekommende og helt fantastisk utroligt søde. Vi vil helt sikkert gerne bo her igen og så vil vil bruge længere tid. En dag var alt for kort.

We had an awesome time at Rakis. the property was everything we hoped for from the beautiful pool to spacious rooms. It was private and cosy . The chef & all staff were friendly and accomadating ! we will be back

We absolutely loved our stay at villa rock, this is such a hidden gem! After the weekend we feel recharged and reconnected with nature. The hosts Thilina and Jack were so lovely, welcoming and on hand if we needed anything. It was great to hear their story of how they build the mud hut in Covid times with their own hands. It’s all self sustaining with the natural pool filled by a well which feeds into the garden, creating its own mini ecosystem which felt so magical to be a part of for the weekend. We felt like we had a little oasis in the jungle! The house has a little en suite bathroom and shower, a live roof and a basic kitchen with a hob, some pots and utensils which allowed us to make meals. There is a supermarket 20 minutes walk away and a bus stop right outside that making it easy to get back to Kalutara train station. Would recommend this to anyone who loves camping, nature and wants to unwind and recharge!

We really enjoyed our stay at Bianca's place. Everything was so easy and the place is amazing. Bianca and her team were very good communicators and responsive. We spent a lot of time walking on the beach and swimming in the pool and exploring the area along the coast, which was exactly what we wanted (and one big highlight of our trip!) The breakfast provided was great - fresh fruit especially! And we also used the laundry here, which was easy and really nice. We tried many of the restaurants nearby and had a good experience - delicious food! We would love to come back here on our next visit to Sri Lanka. High recommend!

Arlo’s place was perfect for our stay in Hiriketiya. It was great to have our own privacy without sacrificing great location or quality of accommodation!

Het is een magisch plekje om helemaal tot rust te komen. Je kan op avontuur in eigen tuin, we hebben meerdere prachtige foto’s kunnen maken van de wildlife wat er is. Iedere avond tijdens schemering zagen we de vleerhonden wakker worden en over ons heen vliegen. Voor liefhebbers van de schoonheid van de natuur ben je hier op de goeie plek. Het eten is fantastisch zowel ontbijt als avond eten. Ook staan er 2 leuke fietsen om de omgeving te verkennen. Niet twijfelen, boeken en genieten!

Our group had an absolutely perfect stay at Kinkini Bandaragama! The expansive garden area was a huge hit with our group of eight people. We were able to set up for our morning yoga sessions easily and had plenty of room for games in the afternoon. Inside, the living room easily accommodated our entire group. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals for everyone. The quiet and secluded location made it perfect for our meditation retreat; the peaceful surroundings really enhanced our practice. The house is conveniently located just a short ten-minute drive from Pearl Bay Water Park. We also enjoyed a peaceful boat ride on the serene Bolgoda Lake, just a short drive away. There's also a large supermarket just 10 minutes away, making it easy to stock up on supplies. The host, Tamara, was incredibly responsive and helpful, answering all our questions promptly and providing us with great recommendations for local restaurants. We highly recommend Kinkini Bandaragama

Nayan's villa is even more beautiful than on the photos! The view over the beach and palmtrees is fantastic and the pool water is warm enough at all times of the day. We appreciated the various outdoor seating spaces as well as inside under the fan. It's very quiet & private apart from occasional fishermen trucks working on the beach. We have also really enjoyed the caretaker Martinez who tended to our needs every day, including bringing us coconut. We also made use of Pradeep's cooking and enjoyed having local food delivered every day to us to the villa. There was also lots of attention to detail, including beautiful flowers around the house and a fresh water tank, so that we wouldn't have to buy water in advance. Shower gel and shampoo was provided. We experienced a power cut once in the week we stayed for around 4hrs. Battery powered lamps and fans are provided for this case. Thank you Nayan, Martinez and Pradeep for a fantastic holiday! We can definitely recommend this place!

Very convenient location. Villa is modern and clean. Communication was great – quick response to any questions.

Awesome place. The host is very helpful and can organize anything you need like scooter etc. nice location just off the main road. Bed comfortable and the AC works well. Really great experience

We had a lovely stay at Kocoon Villa, it was really great value and in a great location about 10 minute walk from the beach. Madiha is a hidden gem with lots of local cafes and a peaceful vibe. Leo and his girlfriend were wonderful and super kind, especially with recommendations for nearby Mirissa. We don’t surf but I’m sure they’d help you out if you do! It’s not described but they do live upstairs and the apartment is on the ground floor. Only downside was not having hot water - I think the new pump is already on order though and the weather is amazing so there are worse places to have a refreshing shower!

Ich habe fast drei Monate im mi Casa gewohnt und mich wie zu Hause gefühlt. Bei meiner Anreise wurde ich schon so nett und freundlich empfangen. Lex hatte für mich eingekauft , ein riesigen Korb mit Früchten und die Küche war komplett ausgestattet. Kaffee , Tee, Brot, Butter , Öl zum Braten , Gewürze und 20 Liter Trinkwasser. Lex ist ein hervorragender Gastgeber der einem immer mit Rat und tat zur Seite steht. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

This place is amazing, right in the heart of Kottawa city, extremely convenient when it comes to traveling here & there. walking distance to the super market (long stay guys would love it) & the hosts are extremely nice, they had some rations stocked for us too. spare set of clean sheets and towels. over all fantastic place. Mithila & Pubudu you guys rock👏
