I only have good things to say about this place! I worked with Margo (the co-host) on having our engagement photoshoot and she was very friendly and nice about the whole thing! Unfortunately, my fiancé and I weren't able to sleep overnight, however, we loved the place so much that we are so so excited to come back and fully enjoy every ounce of relaxation that this place offers! The hosts were so thoughtful that they even left 4 dog bowls for our 4 dogs SHOULD we have decided to bring them :) we ended up not bringing any, but the thoughtful touch & ease of working with them about the pets and shoot was one of the nicest and easiest I've experienced yet. One small heads up about the eco shared bathroom! It didn't bother us at all, but it seems to literally be a hole deeeep down in the ground with ground limestone (I think) powder to pour into it to cover after yourself. Honestly, I prefer that over any portopotty ever lol. It was SUPER clean. No complaints! Just different:) very eco:)

This was our first experience using airb&b and it was awesome. My wife loved the cabin and the quiet setting along with the trails. Ellen was awesome as we were a last minute trip and she immediately told us to come on. Everything was as described and well worth every penny. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a weekend getaway. Also, stop and speak to Murphy, he is a cool little dude.

3800 Sulkirk met all of our needs. I grew up in Charlotte and we were in town for my mom's 90th birthday celebration and we needed a 3BR home that permitted dogs. My husband and I were there with our 3 adult children. The location is very convenient and easy to get to. Hawthorne Pizza (and other restaurants) and Harris Teeter are very close by. The kitchen was well stocked and the pool and hot tub were wonderful. Beach towels were provided as were dog biscuits, a nice touch! Check in is easy as is check out. Great stay and no complaints. So much room and so much relaxation! Our special needs family has a few unique circumstances - but Richardʼs home was never an issue for us! Well lit, clean, spacious accommodations with clear and concise resources. We had a wonderful time!

Host went above and beyond for my family to stay and this was a late last minute booking!! Host was very nice and communicated well!!

Awesome place to stay. Host was very responsive during stay. Would stay again. Very flexible check in and check out times. Very quiet and relaxing with plenty of room for guests.

My family was in Charlotte for a sad event and Mikes home was not only very comfortable but had lots of areas of the home we could individually escape to and be alone with our thoughts. We spent 5 nights and went for walks, watched our 2 pups play in the yard and enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen and the cozy dining room for meals. The bedrooms were all nicely decorated and beds and pillows super comfortable. Our trip was unexpected and we hadn’t packed enough clothing. It was super helpful being able to wash and dry our clothes. Mikes appliances were so nice it was a reminder I would love to replace my washer and dryer! My immediate and extended family visit Charlotte often. I am so grateful to have found this gem of a house. No doubt we will be back often. Oh and I must suggest a fabulous place to have dinner if you like seafood and sushi….New Zealand Cafe. Quaint, delicious and extremely affordable. Took an Uber in order to indulge in adult beverages!

I loved my stay at Denise’s Airbnb! She is fantastic! I stayed for 2 months and was in awe of the attention to detail that she has in every aspect of the apartment from decor to comfort and fully stocked kitchen. The apartment was totally updated and inspiring and the location was perfect, close to restaurants and shopping. Denise was the perfect host! She was always ready with recommendations for anything I needed. The fire table out back was a perfect place for a glass of wine and some appy’s. I’ll be back again next year!!! My dog and I felt so “at home”! Thank you Denise for making my time so special!!!

Everything was perfect and host was very responsive. Loved the back porch and fenced in yard for working outside (Wifi great too) and hanging with the dogs

Excellent AirBnB. Probably our family's favorite so far in Charlotte as we often visit family here. Location is private, super residential, and feels extremely safe.

Very private, safe, and quiet. Could barely hear a thunderstorm which was great as our dog is scared. Rachel's communication is on point. She was very responsive and very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

What a great trip. I was in town for a convention and decided not to stay at the hotel. The place was in an amazing location, I walked to the days meetings, got coffee in my way. Plenty of food options, really no need for a car at all, I took an Uber only once. The hosts made it super easy to check in and even allowed me to check in much earlier than I originally expected due to a flight change. Highly recommend this stay and the hosts. -M

Centrally located and a very comfortable apartment. I 100% recommend.

The cottage is a beautiful escape into an quieter and simpler way of life. Well equipped. Easy commute to the transportation museum, downtown shops and restaurants and wineries. Our second stay, and the whole family had another truly remarkable experience. Will be back 💕
