Lovely 200 year old fully modernised cottage with fully fitted modern kitchen for guests to use. We provide a food cupboard with tea, coffee and cereal etc. We leave bread and milk , and soft drinks. If you require anything else, please let us know . Convenient downstairs toilet and an ensuite upstairs . Free wifi. A home away from home, in the grounds of our family holiday home, the house is just 300m away from the entrance of Tollymore Forest Park. Unwind in the hot tub soaking in the dramatic view of the Mourne Mountains. Inside, relax in front of a cosy wood burning stove. Lively Newcastle town, with its many shops, cafes, bars and restaurants is less than 5 minutes drive away. Other attractions close by are Murlough Beach, Castlewellan forest Park & many walking, hiking & cycling trails.

Ballyhornan Cottage

A beautiful cottage, set off the main road with private parking and large back garden. Surrounded by fields and only a 2 minute walk to Killard beach and the start of the breathtaking Killard National Reserve walk. Just a 10 minute walk in the other direction will have you at Ballyhornan Beach. Castle Ward Estate and Winterfell (GOT) is only 4 miles away and so is the picturesque village of Strangford with plenty of bars and restaurants to enjoy. The house has been recently refurbished.
