Für uns perfekt. Platz für die Kinder - ein herrlicher Sonnenuntergang! Es paar haltbare Lebensmittel sind vor Ort die verwendet werden können -besonders in Island schön dass nichts weggeworfen wird. Es war alles sauber und gut beschriftet. Wir haben selbst unsere haltbaren left-overs dort gelassen. Ein paar Bücher und Spiele sind auch vorhanden. Rundum eine unbeschreibliche schöne Hütte!

Absolutely incredible stay!!! We all agreed it was the best Airbnb experience of our lives. The cabin and surroundings are breathtaking. Would totally recommend for exploring the peninsula. Hosts were very helpful and responsive!

Great place to stay with comfortable beds and excellent location for browsing the southern coast or the golden circle.

Beautiful home, much better than anticipated and more modern /fresh than the pictures imply. We loved staying here! We did an early morning/ sunrise hike to the basalt lighthouse and it was phenomenal. Tip: If you want to eat at one of the restaurants, make sure to get reservations early. Places close early in Stykkisholm and there are just a few restaurants.

Lovely home, really well situated with great restaurants nearby and much to explore in driving distance. Would definitely recommend.

Our stay at Magret's house in Arnarstapi was amazing! The house is so beautiful and comfortable. And the views... unbelievable! We walked 2 trails right from the house. The jacuzzi was such a treat at the end of a long day outside in the elements. The little Stappinn restaurant was really nice to have nearby. The town is itty-bitty without a grocery, so stock up on essentials before you get there. Margret was very helpful and responsive, a great host. We had a wonderful stay - could not have been better!!!

What a great house on a beautiful farm. Lots of history and a great location. Felt very welcome.

We booked the Grund Guesthouse as the first stop upon arrival in Iceland for an 8 day road-trip with a group of 8 friends. We booked the accomodation for two nights and we were very positively surprised; being with a group of 8, we had the whole house to ourselves! What we really enjoyed was the additional huge 'summer room' in the back of the building, which was perfect for breakfast and dinner with our group! Highly recommendable!

This was my second time staying, and I will continue to return whenever I go to Iceland. This place is great . . . super clean, awesome bathroom (including washer and dryer, which really come in handy for refreshing our clothing supply on trips), comfortable beds, and a nice, small kitchen area. The location is perfect as a base for exploring the Snæfellsnes Península, and Ólafsvík is a great stop in and of itself, with a beautiful waterfall overlooking the town, which you can hike to the top of . . . a highlight of our trip. Small, grocery store nearby, as well as a restaurant and small diner at the gas station down the street. Thanks to Kristin for providing this little gem of a place to stay!

We had a comfortable stay here, although we wished the bathroom light was not motion sensored since it turned on even when just passing by the bathroom. Overall, we liked the location, and our host gave us helpful instructions.

We found refuge in this B&B in a rainy and windy day. Easy check-in and spacious insides. we found everything we needed.

If you’re a photographer wanting easy access to Kirkjufell (day and night!) then this is an excellent location. Also really handy in terms of other great spots on the peninsula including Budir and Arnastapi (via the beautiful mountain pass). Also great to have Netflix for those times when the weather is so bad that you can’t hop in the car!

This apartment was perfect for our family of four. Even though we were not able to go whale watching we saw many light houses , gorges, beaches, and lava fields. This host was so kind and the accommodations were perfect!

WE absolutely LOVED this place. It's very well equipped and very cozy. You should know, that there lives a family with little kids above and it might get louder sometimes, but it didn't bother us, as we spent the whole day outside anyways. Other than that, the absolutely perfect place to stay!

Die Lage ist perfekt um die Halbinsel Snaefellsnes zu erkunden. Einige nette Restaurants/Cafés befinden sich in fußläufiger Nähe. Der Check-In/Check-Out lief super unkompliziert. Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt:)
