Our family traveled down to GQ for the first timeto attend the nation baseball championships, so did not know what to expect. The area is beautiful and there are many great restaurants to visit. The apartment served us perfectly as we were only there in the evenings. The apartment is newly renovated and well set up for a couple to enjoy their stay. The 2nd bedroom is a tight fit but for a family with a small child, this room is perfect. The small attention to details is what lifts this apartment above the rest. The flexible check-in time and the warm welcome recieved on arrival was the start to a great break away.

If you want a home away from home with a touch of luxury, this is the place to stay at. I definitely would recommend this place to anyone. Everything was easy from check-in to the communication with the host, we enjoyed our stay.

The apartment was wonderful ! Away from busy area, it offers peace and privacy while still being close enough to everything you need. Parking space inside the residence The apartment itself was well-maintained, clean, and had all the modern comforts anyone would expect. Comfortable bed, equipped kitchen, I enjoyed having meals on the terrace. There is a lovely pool area—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The host was incredibly friendly and always available if any questions, and ensuring I had everything I needed. If you're looking for a true getaway with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, this is the perfect spot. I had an amazing stay and would absolutely come back!

We had an absolutely wonderful time with the most spectacular view. Check in was so easy and Ashley was so helpful. The unit had everything we needed with extra towels and blankets. We will definitely book this unit again and recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Port Elizabeth.

The Villa was large and comfortable. It was perfectly situated on the canal and had lovely spaces both in and outside to relax and play with our kids.

Excellent location! Walk to both the main beach & Wildside beach. 1 minute from shops , gym/pool & coastal collective ( restaurant/ coffee shop) A classic family holiday home . No fuss home. If your expecting fancy interior with sleek finishes this is not for you , if you looking for the best location with a comfortable home with awesome living & entertaining areas ( inside bar & braai ) then this is the spot .

The house looks exactly like the pictures, which is to say that the entertaining space in the house is fantastic, hugely spacious and well fitted out with upmarket furniture and cooking utensils etc. The sun is on the deck all day but we didn't in fact make use of that, preferring to be out and about exploring. Calvin was responsive and sorted out a very minor issue promptly. We are hoping to come again next year - that shows how much we enjoyed the house.

Beautiful home on the canals. Very well equipped and comfortable. Very comfortable beds. Amanda was extremely helpful and accommodating and was very quick to respond. Loved our stay and would most definitely go back! We were 3 couples and all 3 thought it was lovely!

Great place, not pretentious, and good value for money. A privilege to stay in the canals it was really special. Got to make use of the paddle skis and float around the canals. Really great fun. Our 2 and half yr old had great fun and freedom playing around the property. Only thing would be the wonky floor on the landing didn’t feel very safe although I’m sure it probably was ok. Simply lovely stay, right on the beach. Peaceful and quiet surroundings, so we were really able to relax. We felt safe and secure. Lovely to sit on the deck, seeing the sun go down over the sea. It is a pity we could only stay 2 nights, we are planning to come back for a longer stay. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely time at the house. It’s better than the pictures and location within the canals is amazing. The house itself has multiple living areas, very well equipped and the pool is lovely. I recommend it and I would definitely come back.

Peaceful, accessable neat and so much more exactly what I needed for my week stay. It was comfortable and the view was the best going to miss seeing the sunrise and sunsets. Coffee and breakfast on the balcony. Thank you Hennie for sharing your beautiful space with others. I felt truly blessed and highly favored. Hennie responded to every question I had I was like a real granny but he was patient with me. Bless you I trust and hope to be back soon.

The stay was exceptionally wonderful, with remarkable attention to detail. Gerhard provided outstanding hosting and care.

The biggest recommendation I can give for Amanda’s apartment is that we are going back for a month in 2026. The location is perfect.From the large terrace you look directly onto the beach and ocean . It really is a wonderful view . The front of the apartment has an equally impressive view but this time it’s the harbour . Restaurants are a 5 minute safe walk away within the complex. The main village centre is an easy 5 minute drive away , as are the two great golf courses. The apartment itself is beautifully presented and equipped with everything you need . We were there for a month and didn’t want for a thing. Amanda and her co host Annie were brilliant to deal with , communication was simple . We arrived to a welcome pack that went beyond the basics and was really appreciated. St Francis Bay is a fabulous place to stay and Amandas apartment lets you enjoy it to the full.

The “Sweet spot of the Port”, this home is in the perfect location - a skip hop and jump to the private beach on the estate as well as to the pool and a peaceful meander down the boardwalk to a few delicious restaurants. The unit itself is fantastic and lacks absolutely nothing! The view is gorgeous. Jolande and Johan were fantastic hosts. Their response time was super quick and nothing was too much to ask for including recommendations of local spots. We used Mariette’s services to clean the apartment. She was very friendly and extremely efficient. In summary, we will definitely be back and highly recommend this home away from home

It’s a really beautiful spot. Peaceful and views for days. We really felt at home in the space: it’s a comfy, spacious, light, rustic home. We would love to come back. Remi is a fabulous host, very helpful and friendly. Thank you for having us!
