With two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and approximately 1,100 sq. ft. of living space, this updated townhome is a perfect retreat in Central Phoenix. Located within minutes from many amenities, this is an ideal home base for your stay in Phoenix. All of the interior is light, bright, clean, and up to date. Relax in an open living area with TV (local channels, plus HBO), WiFi, streaming video player, and ample seating. Both bedrooms boast comfy foam mattresses, new furnishings, and en suite bathrooms. Enjoy a cup of coffee, a book, or the weather in your private courtyard with built-in bench seating. The kitchen includes all stainless appliances, a Keurig coffee maker (just get your favorite K-Cups), basic kitchen appliances, and most everything you'd need to either cook at home or enjoy delivery from any of the great nearby restaurants. Our townhome is one of only 38 residences on a private drive. It's very quiet and many neighbors have lived there for years. Enjoy a dip in the community pool which is just steps from your front door (our community pool, like most others in the area, is not heated). You'll have the entire townhome just for you and your guests. The community has an outdoor pool (not heated) and barbecue area (charcoal grills) and a key is provided in the townhome. We have a washer and dryer provided inside the townhome. It’s easily accessible from a closet in the kitchen area. We once lived in this home, but have relocated just a few blocks away. There is a variety of dining, cocktail, and brewery options within a mile of the home. Our neighborhood has a Walk Score of 62 out of 100, so some errands can be accomplished on foot. Uber and Lyft are easy and affordable methods of transportation in this area. If you're planning to rent a car, there are two parking spaces available in the unit's covered carport and additional parking nearby. There is also convenient access to public transit, taxi, and bike lanes. Our house is a mid-century modern property designed and built in 1970 by a Phoenix Wrightsian architect and fully remodeled in 2015. Its central location is a perfect setting if you're exploring Phoenix for pleasure, visiting for an event or spending time in town on business. Your favorite steamed coffee beverage, hot tea and continental breakfast (yogurt, juice, croissants, fruit, etc.) are all included with your listing. Enjoy all pictured spaces indoors and outdoors. Your room and bathroom are private with a queen bed, premium linens, a closet, Wi-Fi, Netflix, a desk and more. You may enjoy maximum privacy and come and go thru the independent entry. Alternatively you are welcome to use the front door, the kitchen & fridge, the front and back patios and all other living spaces. The front door is equipped with smart lock you may open with your smartphone; your room independent entry has a traditional key. The home lies in a quiet, safe and well-established residential neighborhood on the border of Phoenix and Scottsdale. Most houses are large and include guesthouses and swimming pools, and many of the neighbors living around us have lived here for decades. Relax on the patio swing, taking in the serenity of a yard fringed with tall trees and green grass. During our chilly desert nights head for the fire pit to warm your toes or toast marshmallows.
