I stayed a few days in Nalin's charming home while visiting relatives in San Jose. The home had everything I needed, and was comfortable & cheerful. I especially liked the coffee table in the front room that converts to a desk. I had a big data collection project to work on while I was there, and the space was great for spreading out and getting the work done. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. I was especially delighted by the little lights accenting the front yard at night. The house is a short drive from shopping & restaurants. Beds were really comfy. Lots of thoughtful details. I would definitely stay again.

Monica’s home was just what we needed for our intimate girl’s retreat! It was so convenient to the airport, and just off a really sweet (and diverse!) strip of shops and markets. The home itself was the perfect set up with just what we needed, especially in the kitchen. Everything to cook besides the groceries, even the sweetest backyard to sit outside and eat in the sun! I believe the listing mentions that there is some plane noise due to how close it is to the airport but it was really not even noticeable most of the time, but the neighborhood is definitely lively so maybe bring earplugs if you’re extra sensitive to sound when you sleep! All around we were very happy and had a wonderful time.

Stephan’s place is nicely decorated, and very comfortable. Nice amenities, everything you would need for an enjoyable stay. Location is great with shopping and nice restaurants within a close driving distance. The train is also nearby with the tracks right across the street but wasn’t too noisy. Stephan is very responsive and a great host. Highly recommend!

10/10 great little home. Was clean and had enough room for our group of 5 adults. Host was polite and helpful, and checked in with us throughout our stay. Easy check in/check out, and the neighborhood felt very calm and safe !! Would stay here again

Very spacious. Had great time with family

I stayed at Sabine’s place for 24 days as I was in town for surgery at Stanford. It was a great choice of a location - about 15 minutes away from the Stanford medical campus, close to downtown Redwood City and its many restaurants, also close to Menlo Park. The house is clean and very cozy. The beds are soft and comfortable. This home is perfect if you are in for health reasons and might need a companion/caregiver who needs a separate bedroom. Sabine was very responsive and welcoming! I would stay again.

Vic was a wonderful host. We would recommend this location to anyone looking for a quiet safe place to stay while visiting.

We really enjoyed our stay at Cath's place! It was a great place for a chill weekend surrounded by nature, and we felt at home right away. There was a minor hiccup with checking in (door code wasn't working), but Cath was very responsive and promptly resolved our questions! The space was very clean, and had plenty of board games and cozy cushions.

Everything was great! The unit had everything you could possibly need for a trip (stocked bathroom, stocked kitchen, tons of extra towels and blankets). The neighborhood was also very quiet, which was great because we're light sleepers. I would definitely recommend this spot and would stay again.

I booked this home for my colleagues from overseas, and they had a fantastic stay. The host was highly professional and responsive, promptly addressing all requests and ensuring everyone’s comfort throughout their visit. Thank you Maria. We were there for work but had a day off in between. We were planning on spending our day off doing something off property but we were already in the most beautiful place we could imagine. We felt like we were in our own private spa. Pool, Hot Tub, Spectacular flowers, grapevines, dining table on the patio and more outdoor space. The beds were comfortable and the bath & kitchen were both very nice. Very nice location, was a wedding party visiting from Canada and the east coast. The place was within one mile of The Hayes Mansion - which is where the wedding was. Super convenient, quiet and the house itself was clean and well kept. Thanks for keeping it that way, and our party thoroughly felt comfortable and well suited. Highly recommend it for similar sized parties with kids and adults all mixed in. May be a few more entertainment options like a pool table in the garage or board games could be good additions. This was a perfect place to decompress during a busy work trip. The space is beautiful, and the attached gym is such a nice treat! Everything was exactly as described, clean and lovely. I would definitely stay again!

We feel so lucky to have found this little slice of heaven. Nestled in the hills above San Jose in a lush and peaceful setting, with an incredible view of the entire city from both the apartment and the ground-level deck. And only a quick drive down the hill to reach the city. I won’t repeat all the more typical positives that have been mentioned by other reviewers: they’re all true! Helen was always available via text, but we really didn’t have any issues that needed to be addressed. We loved it here and will be returning next year when we visit our daughter again.

Very nice to find a affordable place to stay With my schnauzer Winston. He is a low impact dog (doesn't shed, well behaved), but most charge more regardless. The local area has lots of places open late, which turned out a boon for me as I work as a stage manager and get home after 10p. Many thanks Margret and David!
