The directions to the house and check in were very easy. The house was exactly what I expected for the price. It's basic, but clean and tidy. Our party rented the full property which worked well for us. There is ample parking for more than one vehicle.

Do not hesitate , this is a one of a kind gem! I loved the place and the host is amazingly responsive!! 10 out of 10 on the location , beauty , and welcoming atmosphere. Sóley was incredible in every way. I cant recommend this place enough.

Best host ever! This stay was one of the highlights of my journey. His dog Prada and the sheep farm equally lovely. Spectacular views, serene environment and lovely home. Makes me want to move to Iceland!

Very lovely and warm place

We were suppose to stay 2 nights but had to cancel 1 night on the day itself as my MIL fell critically ill and we were rushing to return home. Jona was very understanding and we really appreciate her kindness. Her apartment is very clean, cosy and comfy with a well-equipped kitchen and it all felt like home. Very easy to find as it is along Ring Road and just 20 mins to Diamond Beach. We will definitely stay again if we return to Iceland next time.

Una gran casa en Hofn. Nos encantó y estuvimos tan a gusto que nos hubiera gustado quedarnos más días. No es el típico alojamiento-negocio de AirBnB. Parece la casa real donde viven los dueños con todas sus comodidades y pertenencias. Te sientes como si estuvieras en la casa de un amigo que te ha prestado su casa unos días. Gracias por todo.

The Yellow House was a little on the expensive side for us, and I wasn't sure about staying in a trailer. But it was definitely worth it. The living room, which was spacious and clean, had views of a waterfall, mountains, a glacier, and the Atlantic. We loved sitting in the living room just enjoying the views. On top of that, this house is very close to the Glacier Lagoon, Diamond Beach, and ice caves. Two of the bedrooms and the bathroom were quite small, but the size of the living room made up for it. The door was difficult to lock, but the host left instructions for this and we were able to figure it out. I highly recommend the Yellow House for people looking for a restful place to enjoy the beautiful scenery of southern Iceland.

Great little apartment on the edge of Hofn. We saw the northern lights from the window! It was warm with good WiFi and coffee machine.

Cozy comfortable spot, perfect for 1 or 2 travelers. Would stay there again for sure.

The house is clean and warm and displayed with many cuddly toys. The owners and the puppy are very friendly and the breakfast is awesome. One night we went out without keys and the door was accidentally closed so we went to the owner’s house and asked for help. The owner was kind to us and gave us the spare key even it was already 11pm. Recommend to stay and enjoy the farm-style house😍

The ocean view from the front of the house was pleasant and calming. The rooms are as described. The toys available helped with our 3 year old and her homesickness for playing. Thank you!

Host was really hospital and went above and beyond to help us out! Place was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay for a nice rest on our road trip. Very nice pit stop!

A well-lived and a well-loved home! Súsanna’s home felt like a dream for travellers and nomads like us! As a fellow traveller - the vibe, decor, aesthetics of the house told us tales of the places visited and the warmth of the invite helped us live a bit of her family’s own adventures too! Apart from being an extremely happy place, the location was perfect with endless views of the glacier and the ocean during sunsets with a warm cuppa! The kitchen was fully equipped and rather easy to navigate through! The rooms and bathrooms were spotless and clean! There were enough books in the house to last our entire month in Iceland and a cosy little nook in the dinning hall had tempted us a ton ;) The host was extremely helpful and responsive with great local recommendations. Felt right at home! Would highly recommend. Overall, if you want to experience a house like a warm bowl of tomato soup during the Icelandic winters, Súsanna’s house is where you should be!
