You might see rabbits and deer as well as beautiful wildflowers & songbirds. There are 2 ponds where you can catch small fish just be sure to bring your own fishing equipment. Enjoy yourselves at the outdoor firepit, or eat at the picnic table after you've grilled your meal on the BBQ pit. Inside there are boardgames, cards & puzzles.

We are 1 mile from Palmetto State Park which offers hiking, fishing, paddle boarding and canoeing. Downtown Gonzales is only 15 mins away and gives a great glimpse of Texas history with museums and the downtown square. Ottine Mineral Springs is 2 miles away and offers a spa experience centered around thermal mineral springs. The choice is up to you!

A newly constructed, cozy cabin that is stationed on second generation family land with a current working cattle ranch. This secluded and rustic cabin has unique characteristics such as the barn wood accent wall and barn style interior doors as a tribute to country living. The views include overlooking the hillside where the livestock and wildlife graze which results in a very quiet, peaceful area with no close neighbors. Prime location to many local close attractions.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful ranch house on 50 beautiful acres. Enjoy your morning coffee on the back patio with a serene view of our longhorn roaming the grounds. For a unique experience, climb Longhorn Lookout and enjoy an unobstructed aerial view of the property. Work comfortably at two stations and enjoy four smart TVs. The fully stocked kitchen, large washroom, kids' playroom, art and puzzle table, and large driveway add convenience. Sleeping includes a king bed, two queens, two twins, a futon, and a comfy couch . We look forward to the opportunity to host you .

Tucked just behind our home, this thoughtfully styled open studio cottage offers a cozy, elevated stay in the heart of Shiner. Ideal for a romantic escape or a quiet work retreat with Wi-Fi. Walk to historic downtown, Welhausen Park, and the Spoetzl Brewery. Simple, warm, and intentionally comfortable—your laid-back luxury hideaway in the “cleanest little city in Texas.”

The Otto House

The Otto house is walking distance from downtown Schulenburg and has a cozy, quaint feel. The house has 2 bedrooms, one with a full bed and the other a queen, along with a futon in the living room. We currently do not have a TV or Wifi, but what better way to get away from the bustle of everyday life and enjoy the peace and quiet of small town life.

Fawn Creek

Perfect escape! Custom built cabin nestled in the woods. Tranquility awaits you among the beautiful trees, wildlife and star gazing. Although we do live on the 20 acre property, the cabin is secluded and the surrounding grounds and pond is completely fenced. No pets please. NO CLEANING FEE!

Spoetzl Haus, 4 blocks to the Shiner Brewery

Spoetzl Haus is a Historic Cottage that once belonged to the Shiner Brewery. It has a farm house feel with an oversized bathroom featuring a clawfoot tub and large shower. Easy walking distance to the Spoetzl Brewery and local shopping and restaurants.
