Lots to do locally with Tehquamenon falls 35 minutes away, 30 minutes to whitefish point and 20 minutes to the town of Paradise down a sandy 4.7 mile two track. 4 wheel drive required! The Husky Hut-Pet Friendly, Remote, Private.

The Husky Hut is an adorable tiny home located on 10 private acres. It’s located on a well maintained gravel road with plenty of parking. This is perfect if you are looking to “camp” without the hassle of a tent and other equipment. It’s extremely private; there is no light pollution and the stars are magnificent. The cabin sleeps two guests. This is truly off-grid; no power or running water. There is a sled dog kennel nearby so expect to hear the “neighbors” during feeding time!

You will enjoy sun and moon rises from your living room, watch the birds, the freighters and the ever-changing moods on the bay. If you love hiking or snow shoeing, bird watching, cross country skiing or photography – this is the place for you. When winter arrives, we get lots of snow! Located just 14 miles from Tahquamenon State Park & 1-1/2 miles from Paradise.

Crisp Point Beach Cabin

Enjoy your lakefront cabin on Lake Superior with private beach access. The adventure starts with the trip to Crisp Point Beach which is located 18 miles from route 123 driven on gravel and sand roads towards Crisp Point Lighthouse. The road goes through some of the most undeveloped land in the Eastern States. This off-grid cabin provides a wonderful experience of nature due to its remote location. It is filled all the amenities you need to enjoy beach life on Lake Superior.

Norm's Cabin

Welcome to Norm's Cabin, an experience in partnership with Algoma Highlands Conservancy. Nestled in the heart of nature, this beautiful remote off-grid cabin offers a serene retreat away from the hustle and bustle. Located amidst the pristine wilderness of Algoma Highlands, Norm's Cabin is accessible only by hiking, biking, or paddling. This means you'll embark on an adventure from the moment you set foot on the trail to this secluded, off-grid haven.

4 bedroom home four miles from Tahquamenon Falls

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Located seven miles west of paradise and four miles from the lower tahquamenon falls. The snowmobile trail 45 runs through the back yard approximately 150 feet from the home. Living room with a pool table. Circle driveway with plenty of room for large trailers. There’s also a 32x24 barn with a wood burning stove. This home has one small bathroom with a shower.

The Cabin

Our cabin is conveniently located directly across from the groomed snowmobile trail. Centrally located for easy access to Tahquamenon Falls, Pictured Rocks, the Soo Locks, and Oswald's Bear Ranch. Midway between Lakes Superior and Michigan with many inland lakes. New flooring and a full size fold out couch were added in the beginning of 2025. We can now accommodate 5-6 guests.

Welcome to Trailhead Haven – Explore & Unwind! Centrally located in the Upper Peninsula with no close neighbors, this peaceful home is the perfect base for your adventures. Just minutes from Oswald’s Bear Ranch. Features 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 2 living rooms, a stocked kitchen, and a fire pit out back. Relax in comfort after a day of exploring the UP.

Unique rustic contemporary home built in 2022-relax on the deck over looking 160 feet of pristine sand dune and Lake Superior beach. Walk for miles on the beach after watching the most amazing sunrises. Visit the lighthouse, bird observatory, Tahquamenon Falls, ATV, snowmobile or hike right from our driveway.
