Queen bed, and sofa bed in master bedroom and sofa bed upstairs make it ideal for a couple with children...or better yet a romantic getaway for two with working wood stove and 360º views of the Valdez valley and the surrounding mountains. Located in the world-famous Greater World Earthship Community, this modern off-grid home is one of a kind! Built by hand over 8 years by me, your host, Kirsten. This sustainable house is bright, light, and airy with clean lines and unique details. Like all Earthships this house is built from natural and repurposed materials such as used automobile tires, cardboard, old cans and bottles. All electricity for the house is from solar. Great hiking and fishing right from front door! We also own another studio in the same complex that sleeps 4, and can be rented at the same time pending availability.
