The apartment was very clean and well-prepared for our stay. The location was amazing – right in the heart of the medina, which made the experience even more special. This was my first time in such an original and unique place and staying in this traditional old house made it even more memorable. Each floor had a bedroom, and the rooftop terrace was simply fantastic. It truly felt like immersing ourselves in the local way of living. We also had breakfast prepared for us on-site, which was a lovely touch. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for an authentic experience

Un magnifique séjour à Fès! Le logement est propre et très agréable. Il faut une dizaine de minutes pour se rendre à Bab Boujloud à pied. Logement proche du centre de la médina mais sans le tumulte des souks ce qui est très agréable pour boire un thé, le soir, sur le toit terrasse! Nisrine a été très réactive et soucieuse de notre bien-être à Fès. Elle a même réservé pour nous les transferts aéroport en taxi! Flexible sur les horaires (arrivée tardive et départ en fin de journée... nous avons pu laisser nos bagages pour profiter des dernières heures) Je recommande vivement Nisrine et son logement...

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Dar Drouj. A real haven of peace, incredibly beautiful, perfectly clean and tidy, very well situated. Jennifer was very reactive and helpful online and Abdullah took care of all our needs, organisisng excursions and giving great advice. The breakfast was delicious.

Nous avons adoré la maison d'Aicha, que nous avons trouvée confortable et décorée avec goût. Ce fut un véritable havre de paix au cœur du bruit et de l'agitation de la médina. Il faut toutefois s'attendre à entendre les 4 appels à la prière depuis les chambres. À notre arrivée, nous avons été guidés par Amed, que nous avons retrouvé à l'entrée de la médina, jusqu'à la maison. C'était rassurant et facilitant quand on ne connaît pas la médina car on peut vite s'y perdre. Nous avons également apprécié les petits déjeuners que nous avons pris en supplément et qui étaient préparés et servis sur place. Enfin, Aicha s'est montrée très réactive et disponible, la communication a été très fluide entre nous. Bref, nous vous recommandons sans hésiter de séjourner dans cette jolie maison !

We very much enjoyed our time in Fez and at Mohammed`s place. It is a beautiful traditional old house, with well preserved interior. Right in the middle of the old city. Ideal for our group of 6 visiting the city for several days. It is quite a challenge to find your way through narrow streets, but Mohammed was kind enough and arranged the transport from the train station and a guide for last 10 minutes of the journey, through the maze of the small streets. Mohammed and his sister were very helpful. Greeted us on our arrival and helped to make our time in Fez enjoyable - helping with tips for the places to see, arranging a certified (and knowledgable) guide, sharing the history of the city ... .

Great host! He responded immediately and even gave some recommendations for restaurants and helped us with the rideshare. It’s also in a great location under ten minutes to the market where all the main restaurants and shops are.

Très bel appartement dans une résidence calme avec piscine. Le lieu est très bien situé avec un Marjane et Carrefour très proche et surtout de bons restaurants autour et café.

I liked the place so much, I booked it for an extra extended period. Everything was so peaceful and wonderful. Life is very slow in a very good way in the tiny village of Berwawa. Even though I stayed in the winter, I was plenty warm inside my bedroom with the heater on low. We had some nice rains while I was there and some very clear and sunny days. The rolling green hills looked just like a postcard. So picturesque with olive trees dotting the landscape. The locals continued to be super welcoming and I had no problems whatsoever. Note: The locals here don’t speak much of any English, but we had fun having deep conversations with the Google Translate app for instant spoken word translation. Power remained consistent as well as Maroc Telecom 4G connectivity. Note: Other carriers may have issues, but you’ll probably want Maroc Telecom anyhow since you’ll have the greatest coverage, country-wide. I came to Berwawa to get away from distractions and focus on working and writing music. It was so perfect there that I developed some great playing techniques far beyond my expectations! Mohammed was super accommodating and came to pick me up at short notice when my plans changed and I moved on to Fes. Now, sitting in my sweeping-panorama-view apartment inside the old Fes medina, I find myself missing the tranquility of Berwawa. I wish I could have stayed longer. Never once did I feel unsafe, and I had everything I needed from the local farming villagers or from the little store in-town. Even though I don’t have any specialized “farm lore” skills, I never felt inconvenienced by the simplicity of the accommodations and had no troubles with my daily routine whatsoever. I felt relieved to dial things back and simplify my life for a moment while I unwound in the serenity of it all. I just discovered that there’s taxi service which makes a round trip between Fes and Berwawa each day. The cost is 60MAD (about $6.50USD) per-seat, each way. A bargain since it take 2-3 hours each way. This alone makes Berwawa easily accessible for tourists wanting to get away from it all to enjoy the fresh air, clean water, and the wonderful produce from the bountiful Rif Mountain region. Here, there is no fear of getting ripped off by greedy touts looking to fleece you as you'll find in the tourist traps. This never occurred here. Berwawan's are an honest and honorable people in my opinion. Mohammed’s place has been an amazing experience. Truly the highlight of my entire Moroccan tour. Renting the entire ½ acre citrus, olive and vegetable farm with the large adobe farmhouse proved to be not only a great deal for the money, but an untapped area where there are zero tourists, and local hospitality abounds. I’ll never forget the friendships I made there since you’ll be treated as family with a genuineness of heart that is such a rarity in the world today. Thank you again, Mohammed. You and your family will always hold a dear place in my heart and I hope to come again to Berwawa sooner than later!

Karim was there for us to show the Apt, helpful and always reply to our questions, good person, convenient location from CTM BUS or Train station, say if TAXI will use meter it is about 7 to 10 Derham With out meter Max you should pay 20D From CTM OR TRAIN.. Nice and safe area. lots of Taxi out side the Building, Grocery store (Marjan super market) right in front of the building Exit , you can buy Meat, Chicken, veg too. .Lots of fast food restaurant on walking distance . I had a great stay at Abdellatif’s apartment in Fes. The place was clean, well-equipped with all the necessary accommodations, and made for a comfortable stay. Abdellatif was a responsive and helpful host, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend!

Asmae m’a guidé tout au long de mon trajet avant mon arrivée car je me suis égaré. Elle a accepté d’avancer mon heure d’arrivée et m’a également permis de quitter le logement plus tôt que prévu. Le logement est ancien mais confortable et avec les commodités nécessaires.

Youssef ist ein freundlicher Gastgeber, der uns empfangen hat und nützliche Tipps für die Umgebung mitgegeben hat, da es in der Altstadt ist und vieles engbeinander liegt. Man hat die Möglichkeit vor dem Apartment zu parken. Ich empfehle dennoch 200 Meter weiter beim Sudpark für 30 DH die Nacht zu Parken. Die Zimmerausstattung ist perfekt. Wie auf den Bildern zu sehen. Modern eingerichtet . Wer die Zeit in der Altstadt verbringen möchte, der Ideal Ort dafür. Danke Youssef

I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful apartment in Fès! The place was clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated, with all the amenities I needed. The location was perfect — close to the medina but in a quiet and safe area. Nabil was incredibly kind and helpful, always available to answer questions and give great local tips. I truly felt at home and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Very beautiful and spacious place, I can say that it looks even much better than in the pictures. Easy to communicate with the host. Easy to find and convenient location to see Fes and to park the car in the paid parking
