Blockhütten als Ferienunterkünfte in Taranaki

When I was choosing accommodation to stay in in the Taranaki area, I considered the weather, if it was to rain or the weather was not the best, we'd like to be staying somewhere cozy at least to make up for it and Ecoscape did not disappoint. It was private. Peaceful. It felt like our own sactuary amidst the recent ex cyclone passing through. We had a glimpse of Mt Taranaki every now and then and it was stunning. I could not get enough of it. Would definitely be back if we are in the area.

the evenings here were like being at a fancy restaurant with the heater and the lights. was so nice to make pizza and relax on the deck. The bed was a little small for two people but otherwise very comfortable. overall loved the stay

This magical place was a surreal and peaceful experience for us … the best Airbnb I have ever stayed at and everything was perfect.. the cosy home was surrounded in nature, views of lake, outside fireplace and indoor, a spa, glow worms on a nature walk, birds and two happy ducks in the lake. The bed was amazing and kitchen with all your needs and more. So much silence and had the best time there we will definitely come again. Priceless

Such a peaceful, relaxing place, the beach was fantastic at low tide, exploring the caves and watching people fish. Local cafes had delicious food, the spa was great with a private deck and fabulous views the Cosy Cabin was just perfect to relax and enjoy our stay.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Ecobach. On rainy days, I loved listening to music from the soundbar, preparing meals, and admiring the scenery outside—the rain, fog, and drifting clouds created such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. I also really appreciated the thoughtful layout of the Bach, its solid structure, and the beautiful patterns on the ceiling.

Absolute air BnB perfection! House was amazing, warm & cosy. Everything in this space is thoughtful and has the guest experience at its heart. All the little touches and snacks were so thoughtful and very much appreciated. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to stay again,

We loved so much Rob’s place that we extended it even though the weather was not looking good for outdoor activities. It is very private, quiet and spacious. We had a lot of luggage but no issues to handle them in the house. Super comfortable bed, linen and fully equipped kitchen. There was also coffee, instant noodles and granola available, along with salt, pepper and oil which was great as we wanted to cook some local food during our stay. The washing machine made all the difference considering all the hiking and trail running we were doing in the area. Highly recommend this place.

Great place out of the city. Only issue was workers building outside early in the morning. A part from that great place to stay. Can get sqishy in the lounge with a bigger group. Would recommend.

Nice quiet location. Very comfortable, clean, relaxed stay. Good privacy. 10 minute easy drive to supermarket, shops etc.

The location couldn’t be better: private enough to feel secluded, yet close enough to explore nearby attractions if you choose to venture out. What truly stood out was the attention to eco-friendly details. It’s clear that sustainability was thoughtfully considered in every aspect, which made our stay feel even more meaningful. The cabin’s commitment to the environment added a special layer of appreciation to the experience. The interior is just as inspiring, filled with beautiful, unique artwork that reflects a deep respect for both culture and history. Every piece tells a story and adds to the authentic charm of the space. We’re so grateful for the opportunity to stay here. It was more than just a place to rest—it was a place to reset. We’ll definitely be back.

Great place awesome for a couple nights !!

Loved the vibe of this quirky place. The coastal walkway close by was special especially the historic pa site & information boards. Fiona & Chris doing amazing work for the local area. Great paintings by Chris a bonus.
