Get back in touch with nature at this luxury cabin nestled in a quiet hamlet. Find tranquility on the terrace surrounded by breathtaking views, or lounge amid thoughtful decor and chic modern finishes in the exposed oak beam interior. Blue Vale is brand new as of June 2018! We helped to design this green oak framed building and have been involved in the whole process of building it, doing much of it ourselves. For our colour scheme we have used different shades of blue throughout, playing on the name of Blue Vale. The furnishing and finishing touches are of a high standard to help promote a comfortable and luxurious finish. There is an eclectic style combining modern country with industrial finishes. Luxury, high thread cotton bedding and towels, large flat screen smart tv's and luxury Neals Yard toiletries help to give the top-end finishing touches we would appreciate if we stayed away from home. Blue Vale is completely self contained but sits in the grounds of our family home. The decked outdoor living space is screened by trellis on the garden side with fields on the other. You would be very welcome to walk around our garden. We can be as interactive as you wish. With living in the same grounds we are close at hand if needed. We will welcome you when you arrive but will be respectful of your privacy. The glorious Blackmore Vale landscape is a tapestry of farmed green fields with a sprinkling of English villages, of which Sandley is one. Walk out (or cycle, using our available bikes) onto country lanes and venture along a web of footpaths to discover this unspoilt part of Dorset. Visit Stourhead, stroll around the ancient towns of Sherborne or Shaftesbury or discover the beautiful Jurassic coast. Visit Longleat safari park, Haynes Motor Museum, Monkey world & Yeovilton Air Museum. Sandley is a quiet hamlet with the neighbouring village of Buckhorn Weston just a mile away. The Stapleton Arms pub can be found here. We are 10 minutes away from the towns of Gillingham and Wincanton where various supermarkets, shops and services are. There is a train station in Gillingham which has a direct route to London in less than 2 hours. The larger cities of Bath and Salisbury are less than an hours drive and it takes around an hour to drive to the beautiful Jurassic coastline. The historic towns of Shaftesbury and Sherborne are only 15 and 20 minutes away respectively. The quiet rural roads and bridleways of the Blackmore Vale are excellent for cycling and walking. Blue Vale is in the grounds of our family home. There is a one- bedroomed B&B facility on the ground floor of our home.

Eine große, gemütliche rustikale 1-Zimmer-Hütte mit separater elektrischer Dusche und Toilette sowie Küchenzeile. Kingsize-Bett. Atemberaubende Aussicht auf die Landschaft, in einem privaten Tiergehege oben in unserem Garten. Fantastisch zum Hunde ausführen. Sie befindet sich an einer ländlichen Gasse in einem AONB. Das Hotel liegt zwischen 2 Dörfern, beide mit Pubs und Dorfläden, eines ist leicht zu Fuß erreichbar, aber ein Auto oder Fahrräder werden empfohlen. Wir befinden uns zwischen der Nord- und Südküste, sodass atemberaubende Strände sowie zwei Nationalparks, Exmoor und Dartmoor, in der Nähe sind.

The Old Chicken House, Otterhead Lakes ¦ Whirlpool

Das Old Chicken House ist eine atemberaubende, zweckmäßig gebaute Eichenhütte in einem Wald direkt über der Gasse von den schönen Otterford Lake Spaziergängen. Das luxuriöse Interieur bietet einen perfekten Rückzugsort für Paare. Im Inneren führt der gemütliche Loungebereich mit Holzofen in die offene Küche, das Kingsize-Schlafzimmer und das eigene Bad. Mit seinem rustikalen Design und neuen Einrichtungsgegenständen ist das Chicken House wirklich einzigartig. Ideale Lage, nur 5 Minuten von der Hauptverkehrsstraße entfernt, aber dieser Teil der Blackdown Hills ist praktisch still.

Entspanne dich in diesem einzigartigen Blockhaus mit Parkplätzen abseits der Straße und allen Einrichtungen, um deinen Aufenthalt zu einem Vergnügen zu machen. Die Hütte liegt inmitten der Bäume, in Hörweite der Küste, mit Blick von innen und außen auf die sich ständig ändernden Gezeiten und Hügel dahinter. Das Porthole Log Cabin verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett mit eigenem Bad, komplett mit einer Badewanne und einer separaten begehbaren Dusche. Draußen verfügt der große erhöhte Terrassenbereich über drei separate Sitzbereiche, um das Ambiente der ruhigen Umgebung zu genießen.

Unser hübscher, umgebauter Stallblock voller Charakter bietet luxuriöse, unabhängige Unterkünfte für ein Paar, das einen romantischen Kurzurlaub sucht, oder für diejenigen, die etwas Abgeschiedenheit abseits des hektischen Treibens finden möchten. Hatchwell Stable befindet sich in einer abgelegenen Lage, umgeben von Feldern, aber nur eine kurze Fahrt vom historischen Marktdorf Widecombe-in-the-Moor entfernt. This very charming, cosy and rustic log cabin is located on a private lake on the outskirts of a quiet family farm in North Chideock, just 5 minutes drive from the Jurassic Coast. The tranquil surroundings make this place the perfect romantic getaway for couples and an amazing place to spend a holiday as a family. Various wildlife and lifestock are frequent visitors of the cabin including our resident heron. Enjoy a drink on the sun deck and watch the sunset over the fields from the hot tub.

This bespoke timber frame building was specifically designed for the holiday market.  Imagine a sumptuous high-end hotel suite glazed on two sides.  Then include a well-equipped fitted kitchen, add on an attached covered deck with semi sunken Hot Tub.  Place inside a private garden with tended lawn, climbing roses and wildflower area.  Throw in a handmade slate alfresco dining set and brick built charcoal grill.   Then raise it up to maximise the 180 degrees of uninterrupted country side views.
