Important disclaimer: Please DO NOT book this cabin if you have concerns about snow and ice! This cabin is located at an elevation of about 8000 feet above sea level. During winter months a 4 Wheel Drive or All Wheel Drive vehicle or chains on your tires may be required to make it up the driveway to the cabin! The driveway is steep and although we pay for it to be plowed it is nearly impossible to keep all snow and ice off the driveway or walkways in between snow storms.

Your host is a park ranger and earth science educator and can offer you local recommendations to make the most out of your time in the Rocky Mountains! I live on the second floor of this home.

After enjoying your daytrip, return to relax or hike your wooded acres at an elevation of 9350 ft. Cook your favorite outdoor meals on the propane BBQ grill. At the end of your day, cozy up to the propane fire pit and relax under the stars.
