It was a real pleasure to stay at the Eco Sanctuary. It was a little corner of paradise, with a comfortable cabin and great shared facilities. Perfect for a couple's getaway. The garden and its array of plants is exceptional. Diane made us feel very welcome - thank you!

We absolutely loved our stay at Sasha’s Bach. Was the classic kiwi Bach experience we were after. We particularly loved the large yard which provided ample parking & room to kick a ball with the family. Great value for money.

Mein Aufenthalt bei Rose+ John habe ich total entspannt genießen können. Die Unterkunft war absolut top. Rose hat sich um alle Hilferufe von mir gekümmert. Auch für meine Unternehmungen haben mir beide tolle Tipps gegeben. Sehr gern würde ich wiederkommen und kann die Unterkunft absolut empfehlen.

Mac’s Bach is a lovely little house, perfect for our stay for 2 nights in beautiful Whangamatā. The location is in a quiet street walking distance to the southern end of the beach and a quick drive to the Main Street. We stayed here with a 3 year old and a 3 month old and we were all very comfortable. Kylie and Trish were so kind to lend us toys and amenities for our kids and the 3 year old loved the swings in the back yard. The beds are comfy, the kitchen is very useful, and we appreciated the use of the washing machine too. Would definitely recommend this place to a small family looking for a quiet and relaxing time!

Wir hatten tolle drei Tage bei Tom. Die Cabin war für uns als Familie (sieben Monate alter Sohn) vollkommen ausreichend bzgl der Größe und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Outdoor-Badewanne war unschlagbar, die Terrasse auch. Nur abends sollte wegen der Mücken alle Fenster schließen. 😂 Absolute Empfehlung!

Wir waren 5 Nächte in der Unterkunft. Sie ist wirklich schön gestaltet und man kommt zu Fuß schnell in das kleine Zentrum und an den Strand. Auch die Fähre ist fußläufig erreichbar (ca. 30 min), mit der man nach Whitianga fahren kann. Der Ort ist dann deutlich größer. Jede Unterkunft hat einen eigenen Stellplatz und das ganze Gelände ist äußerst ansprechend. Gerne wieder, vielen Dank für die schönen Tage.

Loved Gordons place in Wentworth Valley. Such a beautiful and peaceful place to stay and a great location to get to Whangamata. Gordon was a great host too, we'll hopefully be back again!

My husband and I stayed here during our honeymoon and loved Yvonne’s space! She was the most wonderful host, going above and beyond to make sure we had an excellent stay. The unit was clean, well-appointed, and relaxing. We are hoping to return in the future and can’t say enough good things!

Can't rate my stay highly enough. The place was spotless, peaceful and Whangapoua Beach was beautiful. Michelle was so accommodating even assisting us with some oil and teabags when we forgot to bring our own (kitchen includes pots, pans, a burner etc but the rest is BYO). Super friendly and helpful hosts. I hope to be back again someday.

Our stay was perfect! Property exactly as described and was fully stocked with anything we might need. Rochelle was very responsive and a super lovely host, would recommend staying here.

The stay is very beautiful and private. Best for couple stay and parking at the front and a private entrance to the stay. The place has everything for small cooking and is near to supermarkets. The place is also very clean and the bathroom were spotless. The host is very responsive and friendly, gave us local recommendations even before asking:) Recommend to all who love peaceful and a private space to stay.

Absolutely perfect for us. Get escape away from people and just super relaxing watching the ocean views. The Bach is the typical kiwi bach very easy to feel at home. We will definitely stay again if we can.

Great location and communication despite the weather trying to derail the stay over Easter. Was a lovely surprise for my partner and a weekend we will never forget. This place will always have a spot in our hearts!

We really enjoyed our stay. You could picture happy family holidays spent in the cottage in the past. While the cottage has some age on it, it had all the facilities we required, the beds were comfortable, everything was really clean and in working condition. Being able to take the short walk to the beach to watch the sun rise each morning was great. Waking to the sound of bird song in the morning was special, as was having two NZ wood pigeons join us as we sat on the deck enjoying a cup of coffee the first morning. With the cafes and the Cathedral Cove shuttle only a short walk away, we were able to park our car securely beside the cottage and leave it there. It suited our style of travelling.

Lucy is an exceptional host! Thank you for sharing your place with us. We loved being so close to the beach and the set up of the space was large, comfortable and had everything we needed. Whangapoua is absolutely beautiful and we feel lucky to have been able to stay at Lucy’s. A trip we will never forget. Thank you Lucy for going above to make our trip the best 🩷

It is an amazing place, completely lost in the woods at the margins of the town. At first sight you may get a little scared by solitude. But this is amply payed back by the silence and the beauty. Birds sing, nature breathes, you really feel immersed in the middle of nowhere. A special, yet beautiful feeling. For the rest: the room is ample and comfortable (the sofa is great!), everything is at its right place. I strongly recommend it!

Jacob’s place is described as tiny but was plenty big enough and contains all necessary equipment. The cabin is finished to a very high standard and Jacob responded quickly when we needed to contact him. This is a great location to explode the peninsula and has a beautiful beach at the end of the road.

We loved our stay at Richard's Beachside Cabin! The cabin itself had everything we needed for a 2 night stay and Ring's beach was everything we had envisaged for a seaside getaway. Such a beautiful spot! Thanks Richard.
