My daughter and I loved our stay at this cozy cabin! Everything was as described and I appreciated the clear instructions for arrival and checkout. The heater worked great and the fleece blankets were very cozy. I appreciated the dvds and the fact that there were kids movies! The lack of wifi wasn’t an issue, my daughter’s phone worked just fine with Verizon. I have AT&T, mine did not work. I purchased my own coffee, but there was some in the cabinet. I appreciated the provided filters. We saw deer & elk on our walk through the neighborhood and enjoyed the sounds of the birds from the balcony. As for things to do, we visited White Sands, did the Osha Trail nearby and explored downtown Cloudcroft. It was a perfect spot to relax after long days of adventures. We had a great time and we would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful house! Highly recommend! Spotless, well appointed, huge tvs, comfortable beds, and terrific shower heads. I would buy this house! The screened porch was a great place to sit for morning coffee and just to chill. Loved the doves cooing. The neighborhood is very quiet. Step outside the front door and you can see the Alamogordo Lady in the mountaintop. Walmart is close by and also very clean. Jennifer has a welcome book with lots of information and recommendations. We had dinner at Lescombes and it was delicious and had gluten free food for us gf'ers. White Sands is an easy drive and those terrific shower heads come in handy after a day of trekking the dunes. I would definitely stay here again.

The cabin is a great size. Plenty of space. The surrounding forest is breathtaking. The neighborhood is quiet. Our host was very attentive. We will definitely return.

What a wonderful cabin. We will definitely come back. The back porch was so quiet and peaceful, and the wildlife was so beautiful. We saw deer, blue Jay's, woodpeckers and cardinals in the backyard alone.

A quiet comfortable stay, and it met my needs for the week. Easy access to White Sands, Pistachio Land, and Ruidoso. The kitchen is great – it has all the appliances and utensils I needed, and there is a large water filter in the fridge. Keep in mind that the house has only the bare necessities, which I knew. I brought my own hair dryer and condiments, but I needed to pick up laundry detergent and clothes hangers from the store. Also, the living room only seats 3 people comfortably, but can seat up to 4. It didn’t affect my stay because I was solo on a work trip, but it’s something to note if you are planning a trip with more than 3-4 people. The listing description is pretty spot on!

We loved this home in the woods! Clean, comfortable, roomy and private. We took a lovely walk down the road and had fun birdwatching and letting our dog enjoy a romp. Hope we can come back some day.

We had a wonderful three-night stay with our family of five. This house provided exactly what we were seeking: private family time in a beautiful pine forest. The home offered everything we needed, and we spent enjoyable days hiking the nearby trails. We loved those days.

I’ve stayed in many Airbnb‘s especially with multiple families and I must say this one is by far my favorite! We were a group of 9, 3 families. The location is beautiful. Direct views of the sunset and White Sands, seeing deer in the mornings walking by, walking distance to Cloudcroft downtown, private. Cloudcroft is just a gem as well. Each room (4) has its own full bathroom with very good water pressure and plenty of beds and space. The house is rustic, but functional. Beautiful touches everywhere. I would return to it just to stay there for longer and enjoy the surroundings more.
